People talking about transfers and linked to players that just not HAPPENING!!

Instead of wild nonsense can we not have a transfer thread with credible links?

Surely if there are no credible links, people can’t share?

What happens if we bring someone in and can't get rid of the other(s) and end up therefore over the salary cap or not able to bring in someone in another position we need?

 

They've signed a few. Mostly from non-league. It's only 45 minutes from MK to Stevenage. Not sure where he lives though. I think the connection is Alex Revell who is manager now. He'll get backing like there was backing last season just they chose poor managers.

 

Put that on Twitter and you’ll have half the hashtag claiming you’re criticising the club without knowing what’s going on. Yet it’s patently obvious.

 

Careful if you criticise the club, you might end up ganged up on like i was.

The other side of that is - what happens if we let Guthrie go and end up two strikers down and are not able to bring in suitable replacements for either of them? There appear to be difficulties in convincing the players we are targeting to replace Vaughan to come here - what makes you think we can attract 2 to come here if we are currently struggling to get one in?

 

So why have we never seen the evidence of you paying the bet you took on with @Bronco and me last season?

 

I wasn't really arguing either side. I was just making a case for the opposite of you to show that either way with the salary cap it's much harder/different to previous years and perhaps needs a different approach to recruitment that we haven't worked out yet.

No, no I can’t when it’s justified. If there were proper accounts filed on line I’d write a WOAP article about the money spent, player and manager turnover and league position.

All you get in response is Rupp/Rhodes/Sparks is a good man, working hard to put right the wrongs of Rahic’s reign. Without them we’d be another Bury. can’t remember where I said it but of the top of my head only Sunderland, Scunthorpe and one other have fallen more places since Rupp bought the club. I guess not many have used as many players or had as many coaches either yet they’re immune for criticism apparently.

 

Personally, and this is just my opinion, I hope we offer every single contracted player a 10 year extension. Can’t have anyone leaving the club just in case we struggle to replace them.

 

Tolly a ten year contract with a caveat if they score goals for fun or become really good we give them away for nowt with a severance package, still pay their wages and maybe to any old rival??
