Is he a combatantive midfielder, a fast striker, a right back, a centre back?
He’s none of these. If we shift one of the other none scoring strikers I’d be okay with this but otherwise seems another example of McCall signing someone he knows

 

He’s a better attacking midfielder than what we have Sutton is the ball winning midfielder

 

If we keep playing 3 at the back, the only role I can see Evans playing is right wing back. He’s never been a striker has he? Winger, yes, but not a striker. That said, I’d stop playing 3 at the back as I don’t think it suits the players we have.

 

It'll be interesting to see Sutton this weekend. Never heard of him before so I'll be open minded and let's see how he goes. Hope, over a run of ganes, he gets the chance to play wherever he thinks his best position is.

 

While not a bad player this signing confirms that McCall has no plan for the team and no style of play, He is building a squad of average players in an average side

I do agree with your point though. As much as I quite like the signing it does seem weird when we’ve got a couple of right wingers already. Seems he signed him because he felt he was too good to turn down and will maybe worry about his position later?

I really don’t know. If we switch to 4 at the back he maybe will be used on the right wing but we don’t really have a left winger. So I’d guess right hand side of a diamond?

if we stick with this back 5, right wing back? And odd stint up front if we are short?
