Agard and Gordon would be decent enough. But one or the other still leaves us with obvious problems upfront. Agree we won't sign more than one sadly.

 

I actually think we’re after two strikers now, RB has held up well in the first three games and our lack of attacking threat is evident. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Stuart’s attention has turned to attacking players.

I could see both, I genuinely could. Only on the basis that one would be a youth loan, and neither club will want to put too much expectation on him, so having him alongside 4 senior strikers would be fair enough. We wouldnt sign 2 established strikers, but 1 plus a kid on a loan, I could see. Not sure what it would mean for the couple of young attacking strikers of our own that we've got though. Maybe a loan in the conference.

 

Not sure, Stuart talks about a tight squad so would he really have 5 strikers on the books? I certainly hope he's after two but think it'll be one plus a RB.

Its a terrible showcase video if I am honest. They should put an arrow over him so you know where he is. A bit like in those police surveillance videos where they are following a suspect so its easier to follow.

My first game going on my own with mates at City was V Colchester at home sometime in September 1981 IIRC. We won 2-1 with a late Staniforth? goal and I was in the Bradford end where he scored and went mental-was hooked from then on!!

 

Colchester was my first home league game, 7 March 1961. Went to a couple of West Riding cup games before that. We lost 1-0 to a late goal. Didn't put me off though.

 

Sounded good though. Quality start, that. Sounds impressive but with nothing of substance to back it up!

Don't forget two of the 6 times in the 38 years were at the start and the end so we only played them 4 times in 37.5 years really.

 

Colchester beat us 9-1 in the early 60s. Good job there was no i follow in those days, it would have been a waste of a tenner.

 

I think Rooney was an example of "talent".

 

We need 2 more up front, A pacy forward that can break at pace and a pacy winger with a good cross to supply the big lad/s in the middle, DMH and sicknote are just not good enough on the wing and it is so important we have a good player there

 

To make a premiership bench at 17 which Gordon did is an achievement
