He used to frustrate me on the radio but then he grew on me. He made up phrases for fun and got himself in a twist at times but his passion won over the fans!

as hornsea says, he seems a really nice bloke and its clear he loves the club. He’s got exp in similar roles. Good luck to him.

I'm glad he's got the credentials because this is yet another appointment from within the immediate circle surrounding the club

 

To stop the players getting injured?

 

Well, if his performance is being measured by the number of intact hamstrings within the squad, he needs to be handed his P45

Could start by not bloody signing crocked players!!!

 

Could be a shrewd signing, if we brought in a performance coach with that CV who wasn’t connected with the club we’d be probably very happy with it.

I didn’t mind his commentary though even though it wasn’t an English lesson, if you didn’t take it to seriously it was a laugh.

Hopefully he’ll also bring some much needed passion and personality around the place.

 

I’ve seen the list of clubs he has worked for but what did he do at the them all and when?

 

A current squad with a plethora of injury issues..... Why not earlier this decision?

Since those Huddersfield days back in 2010, can someone give me a timeline of his time in the game..

 

It's another football man in the club that has to be a good thing the club have a who's who list on their website and I don't recognise many of those names as genuine football people

 

Good luck Andy and welcome to the club, We certainly need some help in the back room as something is wrong, We now have 11 backroom staff for 22 players which probably get in each others way and confuse the players, I hope some leave and streamline the backroom support and they give Andy a big role as he has both experience and passion

We're a fourth tier outfit, this role is hardly likely to attract a big salary, so our potential field is therefore going to be someone based locally with the right knowledge and skills, with relevant experience in the game.

 

He often commented about opposition teams doing warming up exercises just before the second half started whilst City players traipsed on to the pitch.
Perhaps that is why the team has been sluggish after the interval? It will be interesting to see if he puts his theory into practice tonight.
