    Congratulations to Andy. He has certainly got good experience of similar work. Just surprised this hasn't happened before now to be honest

    I for one will miss his enthusiastic radio commentary

    He’s mentioned before during commentary he did similar roles to this elsewhere. Might have been at Leeds and Huddersfield? Can anyone remember?

    One thing for sure, and it's a good thing - he'll turn all the oppo managers into nervous wrecks by screaming "Gooaaaaaaalllllll" every time we miss.

    Yes, it was a case of one in, one out and then little more than a rearrangement of the deck chairs on the Titanic at the time.

    There was a bit of a fanfare in June and then ..... nothing. And our performances since then have reflected that.

    It's interesting to compare what was said about the expected improvements in on-field performances in the article with how things have worked out. It's hardly a glowing testament.

    Some peeps slag Andy for his summarising, but beyond the umms and ahs and odd *@?$ up, he had a good eye for the games. But let's pin one thing down - being constantly 'articulate' on live radio, minute to minute, is a tough ask. Being articulate and knowing how to relate and talk to players on a training pitch as a perfornance coach is a whole different job. Andy's done a damned good fist of that at Udders, Man City, Leeds and Forest - not a shabby CV at all. I wish him well - he's a good professional and a good man.
