Anderson - new deal

They both were played together when bowyer arrived. Then when we were down he gave Anderson a chance to earn a new deal and left out Butterfield because he wasn't going to be here this season. If you gave Bowyer the choice of Anderson or Butterfield I'd bet everything I own on him picking Butterfield without hesitation.

They’re both available for this season though? That’s the whole point of the debate, i.e. would we have been better off going for Butterfield over Anderson.

 

If rumours are to be believed, sounds like Bowyer might be more interested in a different Derby midfielder.

Josh wright replaced Butterfield which allowed Anderson to play further forward in his more natural position which had been occupied by Butterfield.

Fact remains that Wright replaced Butterfield and he was one of the worst midfielders to ever play for us

What the #### does it matter Anderson earned his contract because the manager likes him and so do many fans. He is our player now let’s hope he goes on to fulfill the big potential he was showing before his two bad injuries
