Personally I think you're wrong about Colville and O'Donnell. The other is exactly most on here have been saying.

Wright, O’Connor, Doyle etc may have only had 1 poor season at City. But their careers have been littered with poor seasons. Devine DID break into the team and could be considered unlucky to lose his place. Since then his progression has stagnated due to a series of injuries

 

Must admit you do remind me of the Johnny Vegas character of the same name. Talks bollox and has nothing to back it up.

theyre all evidently squad players with the potential to kick on and go further but the onus is on each one now to show what they can do. At no point has Bowyer said 'Ive offered them contracts because I want to build my team around them and they all start every week'. Nowt to cream over, nowt to start panicking over.
Colville and Anderson have the most potential imo but devine does too,either that or very incriminating photos of the coaching staff.

 

Colville looked good at the start of the season injuries held him back don’t forget Ricc thinks Tom Eaves is crap so let’s hope colville turns out as bad as him

He's 19 ffs Ricc, if he looked okay at 19 years old then surely it might be worth persevering with? And you're constant over exaggeration of everyone's opinion is annoying.

 

I think it's a bit embarrassing that people are getting excited about Luca bloody Colville.
thats how far we have fallen. Luca Colville signing a 1 year deal because he looked half competent in a couple of games a year ago is great news.

Good. And I genuinely mean that. Can’t believe we offered all 3 a deal, suppose it paid off a bit though if we got a bit of money for it.

 

Perhaps we knew his intentions all along and by offering him a contract on equal or better terms that we'd be due compensation. Well done to the club if that was the case. For the record, I thought he had something about him....definitely preferred him to Anderson

 

Yes, true that. On the evidence of the first few games we need a good pro in the middle and having Devine/Akpan/Colville/Anderson as choices werent good enough so moving one on and getting a bit of money is probably a good outcome in the short term. If he goes on to be player of the year and moves to Rangers for a million quid next year then fair play to him.

 

I wish both had gone tbh, sick note surprised Hopkin took him he was injured most of his tenure here.
