Were there really that many saying they expected us to lose? It was probably emotional preparation for the worst case scenario. Y'know - the old 'I bet I've failed' thing that kids do before getting exam results. I very much doubt any of those fans actually stuck any money on Aldershot winning.

I'll hand it to you Park. The fact that you don't resort to name calling and nastiness on here despite the hostility levelled at you should be admired. However surely you can see that when someone's point of view on any given situation can be predicted before its even been expressed, then you lose all credibility. Everyone knows what you're going to say before you've even said it which goes to show how incapable you are of even reaching any type of balanced viewpoint. Everything about the club that you digest seems to be seen through your own 'Park prism'. I don't know if you truly are as stubborn as you seem or whether you are the all time most succcessful attention seeker on these boards. Either way you seem to get what you want round these parts.

let's be fair. I cant remember you writing anything positive even when we've been doing well. if you accuse someone of bring a WUM for being constantly positive about everything when not justified then I'm afraid the same applies to people who are always negative. What worries me this year is previously positive people have turned negative. That shows that things are not good at the club. They have credibility. you do have some good justified points but as everything is negative it loses it impact and significance.

as someone mentioned earlier the referee is very lucky we equalised and no-one got injured. it was like that first half so it wasn't a case that it suddenly got worse.

 

Not confident in the slightest for the second leg.

Still think it's a tough ask to qualify for the second round, they'll be well up for this and will no doubt pounce on our fragility and lack of confidence.

Hopefully, we draw some other non-league shite for the second round which gives the players some realistic motivation to reach the third round.

 

Agree. I said earlier that the whole teams response to NKP's goal was shocking. No team spirit evident at all.
