Another very good example of a big club who think sacking and bringing in a new manager is the way to success they look to be very similar to us with regards managerial turnover :

This. Sparks saw his CV and thought he'd cracked it. Unfortunately, it takes a lot more than a good CV to be successful at a club.

I said it at the time that Sparks was naive for appointing Adams for this very reason. So soon after Bowyer was hounded out for his dour style of play, its a massive gamble to hire a carbon copy.

It's an even bigger gamble when that manager is against your principles and philosophy as a CEO (youth development/recruitment director) and you compromise on that philosophy to give him what he wants.

He was never the fit for us.

 

Of course when we talk about these principles and philosophies, we now realise they were fleeting ideas with no substance whatsoever.

 

We'd be wasting time either way, because it'll make no difference bringing in another manager.

This club is a shambles under Rupp's ownership. Rupp is going to sell O'Donnell to Hartlepool United next, why else would we bring in another Goalkeeper on loan? Club is run by a businessman protecting his investment who is squeezing every penny he can from us by selling players whenever the chance arises.

The only time waster here is Stefan Rupp, he needs to go before we start sacking more managers.

I thought with loans you could only recall during transfer windows?

It's not much of a risk. We can get a goalkeeper on a 7 day emergency loan.

Quite a few clubs have used it this season.

 

No worries. Will Huffer is at Stalybridge Celtic.

 

Ah well, I don't know why we bother signing two goalkeepers in that instance.

Why pay two wages when you can just pay the one goalkeeper?

 

I very much doubt OD being picked up by Hartlepool will do anything but reduce the wage bill

I Dont like the way Adams openly blames the players. I sit on the half way line ( not literary) and it was easy to see in the second half was to give them the midfield, so I believe it was Adams strategy that lost the game. I think we should give him more time, changing Managers at this time of the season could be counter productive.

i am, I once got hit in the eye by a 10 bob bit, and had a tooth knocked out by a threepenny bit, ever since then…..

 

i am pretty sure it has to be agreed by both clubs and the league. If not we still have hit by and emergency loans. So it’s no problem really.

 

May be subject, but that doesn’t mean it’s in the agreement. I’m sure that would’ve been commented on by reporters of both clubs if so, as it usually is.

 

So is Rupp making the call on transfers now ?

If so Adams is even less of a manager than I thought
