Just traveling back - great team performance - Halliday MOM for me. Pointon looked decent when he came on. Osadebe is not good enough to get in a team that has aspirations of promotion!

onto Mansfield Saturday - win there and we gain momentum.

I actually think he's injured and has been for a while ............maybe Hughes should actually put faith in the other members of the squad rather burdening a player that is either injured or simply out of form

I'd love Everton at Valley Parade I don't think they'd play a strong 11 as their priority is staying in the Premier League.

I agree but you'll upset a few saying that, again to beat Sheff Wednesday at Hillsborough will have them fancying their chances.

    Nice one lads
Hopefully a nice glamour tie in the next round!!
Any prem team at home would be great, or away to Man Utd, Liverpool or Everton(so I can finally get to Goodison before it’s demolished)
But I know we more likely to get Exeter away!!

Id like a northern prem giant away please.

Now back to reality - Exeter or Sutton away.

Have to say, I didn't have high hopes of getting through an away tie at Wrexham, but we have done and were in the lead for most of it.

A pleasant surprise, Round Three of the EFL Cup isn't bad, and Leeds just crashed out as a bonus!

Well done folks!! Nice to see those foreigners bite the dust. :p
Maybe you'll get a tie against the mighty Blues (Carlisle).............then again maybe not, we're already out. ahh well normal service resumes!!
And with The Dog Botherer's getting beat in the last round and L**d's getting knocked out tonight, it leaves your good selves to fly the Yorkshire flag, up the Bantams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We are home now.
Those slagging off Osadebe again can wind their necks in.
General opinion from most in our group and they aren't fans of his, was that he was one of our better performers last night.
As I've posted earlier, Smallwood superb.
Halliday reminding us why Oyegoke should be no where near the first 11.
    Kelly and Stubbs good.
Smith and Walker grafted hard up top.
Platt and Pattison not at their best.
Pointon when he came on was excellent, only one mistake from the youngster.
Wilson showed balls stepping up on his debut in the pens.
All in all a good performance.
We created enough chances to win in 90 mins and I don't agree with Parkies assessment that they were the better team who should have won 4-1.
I think they weren't all that and maybe he knows that.

Also not having the drum tonight made a massive difference.
The away end was in fine voice all night with some cracking varied chants.
Great when you are so close to the home fans.
Gives it a bit of crackle which stadiums need imo.

Did we miss Cook tonight? I'm just wondering whether his absence could be a blessing in disguise and force us into playing the channels for Smith. Maybe we'll start to see the opposition having to worry about who they need to stop now, rather than just stopping Cook as they know he's our focal point for scoring goals. We're slowing improving and maybe a decent side will fall into place if he gives everyone a chance.
