25 Year 'Season Tickets' (Now with Suites Poll)

I'll check this out at the ticket office as well. It would be annoying to give up on 25 year ST only to see them price it lower than the OAP ST another year.

 

That was never in the original terms and conditions.

 

At the ticket office today I was told:
a) You can switch from 25 year ST to OAP ST and retain your seat, provided that your seat isn't one reserved for suite patrons only.

b) Switching to OAP ST does not invalidate your 25 year ST. So if they change the pricing structure in future you could revert to your 25 year ST for as long as the scheme is running.

I asked whether the big increase, to more than the cost of an OAP ticket, was an attempt to bin off as many 25yearers as possible. I was told that I was reading far too much into it. The ticket office staff have raised it with the powers that be as being anomalous, to no avail. They were clearly of the view that it is a case of c0ck-up rather than conspiracy on the club's part.

My 18 year old nephew has got a 25 year ticket transferred from my late father and the ticket office are refusing to lower the price from £180 to £174 which is the price for a 16-23 year old!!!!????

So what is the point in him renewing his season ticket? He might as well just get a new one.

 

Exactly the same issue as for OAP 25 yearers.

 

Both issues seem wrong to me and now it's been pointed out the club should really be trying to rectify this instead of just shrugging their shoulders. It's leaving a bad taste imo and completely unnecessary after all the good work they've been credited with.

 

If they wanted to increase the suite prices that’s fair enough but they should have left the season ticket prices unchanged exactly like it’s unchanged for everyone else.
The only fans that are paying more next season are the 600 or so 25 yearers.

£60 increase but only for some of your most loyal long standing supporters is just wrong.
Whether I can afford it or not is not the point.
I fancy this is really a mistake and the club needs to correct it quickly .

What is Mick Lamb's email address? I reckon we should all email him and point out how shabby this 30% price hike is for longstanding loyal supporters when everyone else is seeing their ticket price frozen.

 

Every over 65 25 season ticket holder need to email Mick Lamb and ask
him to swap their ticket from the £180 25 year price to the £174 over 65 price.

 

I don't think Mick sets the ticket prices. It's one for the Commercial Director or CEO in my opinion. They should back down and price them at the same as last year. Otherwise their advertising campaign claiming to have frozen prices could be deemed false.

 

He’s tried to get a new one and the online system won’t let him. So he’s being forced to pay more than every other 16-23 year old. Surely that cannot be correct?
