Congratulations Bantamdave41, yours is the first positive post I've seen on this thread.
    It is very good value.

Still, doesn't stop many others using this season ticket announcement as a big-stick to beat the club.

The increase will help cover the fall in in sales. And May increase walk up on match days

Not sure that's true. Most posts I've seen seem to be in agreement that the price had to go up for various reasons.

Happy with that! Still a good price and great value for money.

I can renew my 2 sons season ticket for cheaper then it would cost for us all to go to accrington.

    No brained! I'm in.

It's not the fact that prices have gone up that's the issue, it's the way it's been announced. I get why there isn't a video but surely the message could have been a bit more uplifting and hopeful. Then again, the club vision is just to stay up and not go bust so I'm probably asking too much and should just be grateful we still have a club to support.

In regard to the Poll, I am somewhere between ‘Yes it’s a good thing and l will renew’, and ‘No l don’t agree but I will renew anyway’.
I guess l fall in the camp of …… ‘Perhaps an understandable pragmatic decision and l will continue to support’.

I'll be honest that suits me, I'm sick of glossy advertising campaigns full of waffle. If and hopefully when a new owner with ambitious intentions comes along then they can butter me up as much as they want, until then I know it's a case of hit and prey for a home run.

I agree. Those who are not going to renew aren't doing it on the basis of price. They're doing so on the basis of quality, value and direction of the club.

Those who'll renew on the basis of, for want of a better phrase, blind faith, will renew at 250, 350 or probably 450.

An increase to compensate for the inevitable drop in sales will make sense to Rupp and Sparks.

It had to go up some time, but if we are not in the play offs at the end of the season many will not renew.

For the poll I agree it is a good thing and needed but will decide if I'm going to renew when they release the price for us

I think the club are pinning their hopes on reaching the playoffs and even better that we achieve it on the last day of the season just as the prices go up.
Imagine if so many people hold off renewing, then we go up in the playoffs and its costs them £350.

Interesting that a notable member on here liked your cheap jibe. Sort of sums the club up. And its wheat.

The club could never run with a proper advertising campaign this year. Irrespective of the disgrace on the pitch, Sparks admitting on live radio that the aim of this club is simply not to die, would mean any tinpot slogan would've backfired.
