I don't see Alex Smith on the photo.

One of my favourite full backs of all time.

I remember him tackling the opposition winger and the attacker finished up over the running track brick wall and in the crowd.

I think Alex Smith moved to Hudds with Paul Aimson when Tony Leighton and Denis Atkins came the other way.
Denis Atkins is 4th left, Archie Taylor 3rd left, Bruce Walker 6th left.
Not sure of the 2 on either side of the tall Graham Oates, think one might be Derek Montgomery and possibly Jimmy Cuthbertson.

I wasn't happy when Pablo went to Huddersfield Town but Tony Leighton did O'K for us, Tony was the player who gave Grenville Hair mouth to mouth when Grenville collapsed with a heart attack whilst taking training at Valley Parade having taken over from Willie Watson I believe.

The lad between Ian Cooper and Graham Oats is Kenny Wright I worked with his brother Eric Wright and the other brother Barrie Wright played for Leeds and Brighton, Eric was the better footballer of all three he used to tell me turning down Manchester United in his younger days.

Have we identified the player between Hallett and Walker as Ron Bayliss?

I was so upset when Aimson left that I even went to Huddersfield, on spare Saturdays, to watch him. What a gifted player!

I met Ron Bayliss in a pub in Folkestone I think about 1973/4?? playing for Folkestone FC. He enjoyed a chat with me reminiscing about City.

Duggie "Slugger" Rooks on the back row, before his AFC Queen days.

I remember the last time I saw Tony Leighton. It was at Liversedge Cricket Club, I was at the bar and turned round with some drinks in my hands and Tony was there in a wheelchair. I found it quite sad given the good sportsman he had been.

    Yep
    Big lad was Barry Swallow
Makes Bobby Ham look a midget
Think John Hall had that smile painted on his face
    Great memories

With the greatest respect Broncs I don't think it's either Colin Hall or Graham Oats.
The collar on the shirt is Claret which would indicate the photo was taken circa 1968 the year before I started going, when the strip remained virtually the same apart from the collar becoming amber.
Graham Oats joined us from Manningham mills in late '69 - 70. Colin Hall didn't arrive until 1970 from Nottingham Forest, at the same time as Michael Owen's dad Terry.
Now I've dismissed your claims I've got no idea of who the 2 players actually are?

Yes when @Jayteebee@Jayteebee posted his comment I should have changed Coiin Hall to Bruce Walker, you right with regards Colin Hall & Terry Owen both came as the same time and I believe both debuted in our first game of the season at Walsall ?.
I know two guys who will know Ian Cooper & Jimmy Cuthbertson I'll take a copy down when we play Middlesbrough and ask them.

Anybody know who is next to Dennis Atkins and Bobby Ham. For some reason I have a name Truelove in my head but I’m probably wrong?

Archie Taylor, came from Halifax Town I think.
I stand corrected on Graham Oates, should have realised the massive sideburns were missing.
