Oyegoke will improve the more he plays, Brentford is a good environment for a young player to develops early in his career. As for Tyreik Wright, it could be a masterstroke moving him to wing back.

It may sound controversial but I think that rather than League Two being a "poor" league lacking quality it is quite the opposite. Very few (if any) clubs play route one football any more, they all seem to try to pass the ball, playing the "high press" when they feel it necessary. What It makes for is a more even league with teams sometimes cancelling each other out.
There are quite a few good coaches at lower league level these days, along with some experienced managers. Also due to the amount of foreign player plying their trade in both the Premier League and the Championship it has lead to lot of quality players getting squeezed out of the bigger clubs and down the league pyramid.
Some fans were calling for Challiner and Parkinson to be sacked earlier in the season and look where their clubs have finished up. Mansfield have stuck with Nigel Clough over a period of time and it has paid off. Add to that Gavin McCann at Donny.
I think we should give Alexander time to put a side together and back him to do the job. Personally I don't find his football dated, he also seems quite flexible with his formations. Get Jake Young and Alex Pattison fit for the start of next season plus a few key ins and outs and we will be good to go next season.
That is assuming we don't do the unthinkable and squeeze into the play-offs.

Regards Wright, if he is to be used as a LWB and can play the role then by all means.
Players in that position are rare so if he can maintain possession in a back line whilst been able to put in the yards going forward and chipping in with goals and assists then it's a no brainer.
Oki koki I'm not so sure about.
Squad member maybe but need better for 1st team starter.
But again if we can find better for both positions we must go for them.

Wright looked like he couldn't be arsed on Saturday. There were numerous occasions where Kelly played the ball out to him in space and I'm thinking great, get down that wing, but instead he just played an easy backwards ball. Of the two I would rather we had Oyegoke next season

Would like to see Richards back in, then sign a proper LWB in the summer. I'd also keep Oyegoke as I think he has potential despite performances this season. He can only get better

Richards is not a good player.
Too top heavy and looks lost most matches.

No point bringing in two left backs, he's more than capable of being back-up to a new player

I've liked him since we appointed him. I think he's a great fit.

Will he and has he got everything right? NO. Does anyone ever in anything? Christ even Pep gets it wrong from time to time.

Will he do his best? Does he engage and speak well? Does he seem a decent bloke? Yes.

He knows the league, he now knows the players. We've seen enough to know that we're actually getting better and he is fitting in more and more.

I hate sacking managers. I didn't want Hughes gone. But we did it and here we are.

"MK dons didn't want him" yeh but who gives a shit about the soft southern franchisers? I'd love them in the playoffs. Imagine the story if we beat them over two legs. I would hope GA kneeslides after running the length of the touchline at stadium MK ala Jose for Porto.

If it were to happen, I hope he makes a better job of the knee slide than Tyler Smith did on Tuesday night :joy:

As long as the starting line up tomorrow smacks attack, attack, attack then he is going in the right direction with things. He needs the summer opportunity

Graham Alexander to a tee every presser he delivers.
Psychology is a vast field that deals with people's behavior, cognitive attitude, performance, and mental functioning. Understanding how the mind works can be helpful in everyday life by allowing individuals to build strong relationships and make the best decisions.
Graham's one to one chats behind closed doors must be inspirational if his interviews are anything to go by.
I've never known a manager at our club be so in-depth with his answers to simple questions.

Interesting presser today. GA spoke about building a tactic and formation that suits the players you have and mentioned as part of his comment about three up top.

Now, could we see a Young/Cook/Kavanagh front three next season? In either L1 or L2, I think that attack scores plenty of goals. Obviously need to get the midfield right and would probably see us revert to a back four but I'm all for it

Hoping next season we start off by trying to build something around Young and Kavanagh up top, with Cook being a great alternative option of the bench or for specific type of games.

Cookie is now 33 and will be 34 in October. He isn’t going to get any faster and may well find games harder as he has to deal with defenders who can potentially outpace and out muscle him. An important player, but you cannot ignore that the clock is now against him. Derbyshire will go and hopefully we can offload Oliver.
