Just looking into it, we started training at Woodhouse Grove in 2012, so Evans is too thick to realise he was training at a different place when he returned for his second spell.

This just seems like someone who knows that if he talks about us it will get attention. He clearly doesn't like the club, don't forget his comment where he said "a bit of me died when I left Portsmouth for Bradford". That interview was full of excuses and passing on the blame slagging off the players and then the disrespectful comments about Trueman and Sellars.

We used to just train just at Apperley Bridge and the pavilion was unusable so the players had to get changed at Valley Parade dressing rooms and then drive down to train. I believe Dave Baldwin sorted out the deal with the school and had the grass training pitch improved which City have exclusive use of. They now also have use of the school facilities, Gym and Pool etc.

Those that had a poor returns for the club should be quiet. Moaning about their facilities is not professional. As my dad always used to say it’s a poor workman/footballer who blames his tools for his own performance and unprofessional. Fans had to pay good money to watch his inept performances now we have to listen to his rubbish. Bugger off and learn to be gracious.

I would like to know just what the better facilities are, at the other League One and Two clubs?

Quantify the difference and the significant shortfalls (if they exist) in provision.

What do they actually have at all these other Training Grounds, that are not present at Apperley Bridge.

l understand and accept that the club doesn’t own its training facility, but just how is it actually deficient.

I don’t own my car, l have it on a PCP…..but it is just as good as the same car, which is owned by its driver.

What Evans, Warnock and Sharpe all have in common, is that they were at the end of their respective careers. Grayson another critic is currently out of work having left an Indian Super League club.

None of them has had success since they left City, personally they were sinking and finished.

I did some work for a guy a while ago who used to play for them as a junior, said they used to train in the car park. He mentioned getting a bollocking for upending Don Hutchins.

My issue is the clear fact between November and March nearly every year we have disruption re training. It’s flooded and unplayable. It’s exactly like our pitch under funded and under valued as we simply have nothing and what we do have which is very little we put in the budget. But we forget success is a sum of all its parts and the trainning disruption and pitch quality plays a part. These players a so weak minded this is a ready made excuse!!!

I don’t know the stats but I’d argue our worst periods in a season are those wet and cold months and the disruption it causes.

Probably, or maybe there’s more to it. I’ve not rewatched the video as I’ve no interest in Evans he was a crap player as said but all feedback should be listened to. And I’m not sure he actually criticised the facilities, just said they were at a school. To me it’s like getting a top of the range computer and comfy chair from my boss, I can easy do my job with that equipment but if he makes me work in his garage it would affect how I perceive the company I’m working for.

As a kid, I remember seeing them playing small sided games in the car park on South Parade. I've also seen pictures from the early 70's of them running by canal at Shipley Fields.

Didn't we train at Scholemore at some point during Dolan's reign as manager because of the connections he had there ?
