That's fair comment we've not had that on a consistent basis during his time here, but to be honest I did expect more from his general all round game and maybe a little more involvement as Captain.

 

Do you enjoy trying to annoy your fellow fans with those sort of comments, there's no problem with the present system buying a ticket in an area you've enjoyed sitting in for years, but lets change it and have a first come first served situation, plus the fact many enjoy the seats they've had for years as they have like minded fans around them but screw that let's have fans in the stadium at 2pm or what ever time they open to make sure then get the same seat they've had for years.
Fortunately as @Storck says that wouldn't effect our area so I'm more than happy to roll up at 2:50 on a Saturday and know there will be a seat awaiting me, usually with a welcome from fans sat around us, is that Right @Onside .

Simply rise them say £20 after the cut off point and folk can see what is about to unfold or simply put it on for an extra month.

The club should simply budget for 10k and anything after that is a bonus.............its ok them wanting us to put faith into them but now more than ever they should be bending over backwards to get us back onside.

We have come out of yet another puss poir season with folk at the helm who have helped to cause this mess still at the club and for all that they want even more money ?????


They for me could whack it up another £100 so long as i knew that the money was being spent correctly but i cannot trust folk who continue to get it wrong yeat upon year.

The best thing that they could have done last week was to announce that Sharpe was taking over everything football matters he was reporting and dealing with Rupp directly but while Gent and Sparkes are there i worry.

I actually think that Sharpe will get us going in the right direction if hes left alone but sadly i can see Sparkes fooking this up aswell

Of course. However it was touch and go this next season. The club knows that when the chips are down it isn’t @Loyalbantam that make the difference it is those that go to enjoy family and friends around them. How many would we have sold this season without that connection pull.

Sacking Sparks would have immediately boosted sales and from there they just needed the right appointments and perhaps a leaked, quality signing or two and the ST numbers would fly back up.

What makes you think we should retain 100% of our ST holders - even success doesn’t guarantee this?

If we shift 12,000+, there is very little difference to monies generated in comparison to last years campaign.

 

Are you suggesting that if we were currently sat in the top 3, season tickets sales would be lower than they were this time last season? Because I honestly don't think they would have been.

 

If you read back through my posts, I think you’ll find that I have already alluded to that scenario.

Yes with the price increase, I'd imagine 12,000 holders will be about the same as last seasons 15,000. However, the club explained we are raising prices because of the costs of everything else climbing. So we are bringing the same amount in but spending far more that we were this time last year.

But losing 1 in 5 through the turnstiles could well also see drops in sales at the shop, sales at the kiosks. We might well match the ST money generate from last season, but losing 20% of ST holders will hit on other streams over the season and again doesn't combat the rising costs, which we were told was the reason for the price hike.

 

Dunno, apparently to some it's no big deal. Imagine losing a fifth of your customer base in any other job, you'd be tidying your drawers out.
