Two of the lads I went down with are Leeds fans and were going down for the Spurs away match a few weeks later. Instead of getting anywhere near Tottenham I think they parked one stop away but going the other way from London, Enfield maybe? And said the trains were the same level of busy for the PL as the NFL match, but barely anyone got on the train going Enfield way and they were out and back to the car in no time.

The direct debit is the savior for many. In the current cost of living crisis a football ST isn’t a necessity, and subscriptions are one of the first things people end when cutting their expenses - whether it be gym memberships, Netflix etc.

it is unfortunate for the club that they chose to increase the prices after a diabolical year on the pitch, when fans themselves are dealing with rising living costs in general.

They should have upped the prices 12 months ago when Hughes had credit in the bank and we still had a chance of promotion.

The owner rejecting the petition and the car crash Radio Leeds fans forum (which had no fans) in which Sparks outlined the clubs goal of sustainability are other reasons numbers are down. That, and the general apathy from Rupp and fact Sparks seems to think he’s doing a good job.

 

Im sure the pensioners and disabled will love that.

 

Fewer fans= less income. if Rupp is going to make city competitive he needs to put his hand in his pocket. Or cost cutting needs to occur. Perhaps start with Sparkes?

We generally shift a large percentage in the final days leading up to the deadline - I don’t see this campaign being any different.

 

Sparks isn’t going anywhere! The sooner fans accept this and collectively pull together, the better.
