I understand there is already a thread on 24/25 season tickets etc but I'm putting this out here for a dedicated thread , as to the availability for the forthcoming season.

IMO, a great concern for the forthcoming season with what looks at this point of time, a poor uptake. Is there a potential that beyond the NW corner, other part(s) of the ground may close?

I'm seriously trying to comprehend if 7k of sales have occurred yet?

    Thoughts?

23/24 is sales per Newport game Vs 24/25 as ticket availability on BCFC ticketing website.

    https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/news/2023/september/record-fourth-tier-season-ticket-sales---for-second-straight-year/

Bradford City AFC is delighted to confirm the total of 15,054 2023/24 season ticket sales - a Sky Bet League Two record for the club, for the second-consecutive year.

Having gone on sale on March 23, frozen early-bird prices saw an Adult again charged just £198, equating to only £8.61 per game.

The figure beats the Bantams’ previous fourth-tier record of 14,190, set last year.

Of the 15,054 sold, a total of 2,326 were to ‘new’ supporters, who did not hold a season ticket last year - an increase in almost 500 supporters on last year's ‘new’ supporters figure of 1,835.

If things carry on like this, we might aswell shut the upper tiers of the ground. How can our CEO look at these dire season ticket sales and think, yes I am up to the job?

I think we all knew it would be lower, it was just how much lower. They won't release the info until the early bird deadline is done and dusted in a few weeks. But if there's over 10,000 ST holders I'd be amazed.

People have had enough and it's easy to see why. I think this is the time where Rupps words will have accountability, unlike 5 years back.

    How can I see seat
Dave how can I see the current availability for next season? I have renewed but might like to move seats. I logged onto my account but apparently I don't have enough City points for a season ticket :joy:

You can't unless you currently sit in the lower kop.

Surely they will announce when it hits 10 000?

I'd be amazed and alarmed if it were below that, but surely not?

@JonButterfield@JonButterfield .... screenshots above are firmly from the Ticketmaster website @15.00 today so I can only assume, data is up to date.

I'm of the opinion that c6k of sales has occurred to date. Now it's not unrealistic that another 4k may sign up for STs but and a big but, I don't see it

I think we were close to 5,000 sales last season between the same seat deadline and the early bird deadline? But that was ahead of a promotion push.... if we get an extra 3,000 I'd take that as a win at this stage. Somewhere late 9,000s early 10,000s is my guess when the deadline is done.

That would represent an immense drop, way worse than just suspected, and I'm pretty cynical about happenings at VP...

I'd be floored to be honest Dave

I agree. Looking at the maps of the Kop, the main stand and Midland Road as they are today, 10,000 STs would be a good outcome for Sparks et al. I don't imagine for one moment that there will be many new STs sold to make-up for the non-renewals. In the last 3 years, that's averaged around 2,000 each season. I couldn't imagine getting close to that in the current climate. The warning signs have been there for some time now and it hasn't required much to see that the home ends have been no more than 50% full in the recent past. And yet, the club has done little if anything to acknowledge the fans' disappointments. The club couldn't even be arsed to read the hundreds of messages from fans received via the new ISG or to organise a proper fans forum. More fool them.

In fairness, ST sales themselves only account for around 30% of the club's revenues and prices have gone up by around 25% which will compensate to some extent. The impact will however become more significant if walkup revenues reduce and sponsors, advertisers, caterers etc start knocking on Sparks' door asking to renegotiate their arrangements to reflect lower crowds. Sparks and Rupp need to take their heads out of the sand and get their act together with some urgency now.

I think he might have realised …a bit late in the day. We shall see with recruitment / releases over the close season to be sure that he ( Rupp) actually means it.

Going to the demo at Liverpool tomorrow night… Season tickets have increased by TWO percent?….lol!

Those images are shocking if they are comparing like for like on a timeline. Looks' like at least 50-60% haven't bought a ST yet.

I cannot see it being anywhere near that sadly.

Close the top tiers and accommodate the 7 or 8 thousand who I think will be nearer to the final number, in the lower tiers. Would make for better atmosphere too

It looks like the 23/24 one is from ticketmaster and its screenshots for single ticket availability for the Newport game, whereas the 24/25 shot is the current state of play for STs as of the time it was taken.

Not a like for like timeline in terms of ST sales, and its still cheap tickets window for 2 n a bit weeks. But I dunno how many single tickets we shift for games? Even so, I can't imagine we've moved more than 7000?

I imagine the protest is more regarding another increase when the cost is already more than the average Liverpool sporting family can afford.

It's all well and good the single man shelling out £800+ a season but when you attend as a family that cost is then into the thousands before you've even added extras such as travel and food.
