    Smallwood will be checking the fineprint of his contract as we speak. Who was it who came in as manager started binning every player out of the club who was underperforming? Hope the same happens at the end of this season/beginning of next.

    The best we'll all get at this stage is what is said on the club's website ..

    "He will be working alongside our manager and head of recruitment, Graham and Stephen, as well as our head of academy, Mark Litherland."

    Any clearer? No! I hope over time that Sharpe's real role is better understood by all.

    It's interesting to note that the club has a Commerical Director. a Director of Ticketing, a Stadium Operations Director and now simply a Head of Footballing Operations working alongside others. I'd hoped that Sharpe had been appointed as the Director of Football, but that isn't what Sparks has done. He's failed to grasp the mettle again imo.

    Good luck to him, Sharpe that is!

    Won't be long till there's a fall out between the two of them
    DS to quote our ex and current manager will realise there's a problem here try to fix it only to be met by resistance and will be "needed back" at the family business
    It seldom works when an employee is more qualified than the CEO

    As his girlfriend, she was made CEO, with absolutely nil football expertise. However she has a degree in politics or something similar football orientated. ;) That would come in right handy at VP.

    I’d rather have him in charge of footballing matters than Sparks …Of course we all reserve judgement but as he said in that interview “it” wont happen overnight and will take at least 4-5 windows. Just watch for the absolute purge looming in about 5 weeks. Then we will see if he ( and Rupp) means business or not ? I’ll wait.
