Agree with the re-election, but isn't our lowest ever league gate 1,249 V Hereford in 1981 ? The only 5 lower all came in the FL Trophy between 2017 & 2019.

Ironically there are many more than 1,249 people who "claim" to have been at the hereford match !

Ok Jon if that’s what you meant ..my bad.

It still stands though as the difference between how the clubs in two almost identical City’s are funded.

    Exactly.

Some use the excuse that Bradford is this, that, the other... Leicester is pretty much the same in so many ways, and look at the investment they've managed to secure.

inadequate leadership , Council , Bradford City, Bradford Bulls, Park Avenue and not just currently, brings a constant decline and yet we have the same people in charge year after year.
No vision no ideas, just a begging bowl.

I am so glad I stayed at home last night. After Saturday I'd have been rocking in a corner if I'd gone. Touch & go now for any of the last three, but I will do Newport just to pay tribute to those we lost.

The crucial difference between Leicester and Bradford is that the former is the centre of their area and the only city, and have retained their middle class, and therefore money, albeit not necessarily in the city itself. Bradford is completely overshadowed by Leeds.

How much richer was Bradford when we gained promotion with Parky and had a day out at Wembley?
Correct. The answer is that it was fck all richer. All people are doing is lashing out, trying to blame it all on bizarre factors that have fck all to do with our current position.
My guess is that our recruitment has been gash. It's already been stated on here, we have a pss poor midfield. We've had such a midfield all season. I'm not going to name individual players but I think we all know who have been the major disappointments. If your midfield isn't 'working' you will struggle. There's also the factor of our home form. It's as though we freeze and away teams play out of their skins.
As for GA. I'm not convinced. I hope I'm wrong but some of his decisions have left me absolutely baffled.

And although many keep telling us DOF is the way forward the manager having the final say on who comes in especially at league two level puts all the responsibility on the manager and that just how it should be Parky didn't get every one right but overall he got more right than wrong.

Midfield was also a problem last season and was why many on here said it was the number one area that we needed to recruit well in during the summer. We brought in McDonald who doesn't see able to play a full 90 apart from once in a blue moon, and Pattison who has been out injured the majority of the season. That's left us most of the time with the same central pairing that were a problem last year in Smallwood and Gilliead, and the worrying thing for me is that if GA is still here, it will be exactly the same two players starting the majority of games next season as well.

Smallwood got a 2 year deal in 2022. Probably not good for him to stay and l would be surprised if we offered him an extension. I also think that Gilliead could well feature as a wing back next season.

Of course we shouldn't take up the option of a further year but GA really rates him so if he is still here, Smallwood probably will be as well unfortunately.
