You can kinda point to any number of failures below that CEO level, but none of them are the true root cause of our abysmal performance and utter failure.

I still don't know if it will drop below 11-12,000 season ticket sales, but you can guarantee actual attendances will be about 7-8,000 if nothing at all improves - and there are no obvious signs of improvement on the horizon :worried:

Still, some will pretend we still don't need a DoF or a new CEO with real experience.

Alexander post match from what he saw tonight players are up for it. The man is a bluffer, taking fans for idiots who witnessed that tonight and last.3 home games. He didn't hear many boos at halftime yes because the crowd was so low.

For me, it is a holistic thing. The set up. The domino theory, one thing knocks into the other.

    • The deteriorating state of the stadium.
    • The pitch.
    • The players-styles-ability-age-attitude-psychology-fitness-incompatibility.
    • The constant changing of managers.
    • Some of the supporters attitude-eventual fatigue with the performance.
    • The management struggling.
    • The ticket system.
    • The increase ‘now’ in the price of Season Tickets.
    • Transport-parking etc
    • The none playing management team.
    • The recruitment strategy.
    • Long contracts for some questionable players.
    • An an absentee owner, who demonstrates little understanding and/or empathy.
    • An identity which is floating away.
    • The state of the City itself.
I am sure others could add onto this list. In reality this is not becoming a perfect storm.

    Good list, Rod.

I don't think the state of the city matters at all if you mean Bradford (I notice the capital 'C' though?) - look at Leicester. There's absolutely no reason that's a city worth significantly greater investment than Bradford. Look at their football club, though.

For me, almost all of our serious, major issues can be managed by the club. Not much we can do about transport and the stadium itself even for me isn't an immediate priority (maybe it should be) - but the rest of that list is all controlled 'in house' and there's simply no excuse for getting all of that wrong, concurrently.

I honestly just don't know where the energy and effort goes from the boardroom, or why. I can't fathom how they're getting this so badly wrong. Football itself isn't complicated.

Alexander saying we were the better team in the first 11 minutes , come on we tried to press and harry them right at the start but they didn’t panic continued to try to play their football not hoof it like us ,and it payed off they scored we quickly run out of ideas. Langstaff and Crowley were exactly what we don’t have a mobile striker and a midfielder who can run/ influence a game. We are as we all know a very very poor team with the ball and it has been really exposed in these last 2 games. Although these players were brought in to play the Mark Hughes passing style so what’s happened ?

I came on here last night to vent my anger/hurt/frustration/disgruntlement etc etc but I’m completely dumbfounded at this point by what is going on.

This is the lowest point the club has been in during my 30 years of support (first match 1995)

Even the last time we were languishing this low circa 15 years ago, the club didn’t feel as soulless or as doomed as it does now.

    This is heartbreaking

We are in free fall at the moment and to arrest that fall will take investment. Rapidly falling income, bloated squad on high long term contracts, richer more organised clubs all around and clubs from the national league with money to burn. All point to an outcome I doubt we'll recover from.
Next seasons recruitment will be based purely on free transfers and ageing players. We can't afford to buy the players needed to progress. Players will look and see this club is heading in the wrong direction and won't want to take the risk. A clean sweep is required and then probably a season or two for the new owners plans to take effect. Obviously dependent on a willing seller and buyer scenario.

It really is difficult to see where the next win will come from. Maybe playing away will help. Away from the poor pitch and pressures of Valley Parade.

    Nobody is happy.
I’ll tell you what then, now that the season is effectively over, how about instead of sending letters, you organise a pitch invasion protest next Friday with the intention of getting the game postponed.
If it doesn’t work in getting Sparks to resign then same again the next home game.

Should we try and cash in on Cook this summer? Seems a crazy question to ask and I'm not sure how much we'd get, but our whole approach with him in the side is to go long and we're not seeing the return from his partners we'd expect. Think Hanson and Wells, Mills and Blake. Cook is not the hold up player the long ball style requires. To succeed we need the fluidity of the Wycombe match, with hopefully Young on the end of the chances to put them away.

Yet…with this already in place, a ready made championship size club, there are no buyers out there any better than Rupp or Lawn. Why?
They’d prefer to buy the likes of Wrexham, Carlisle, Salford etc. Why?
My guess is because Bradford has the national stigma of being the worst city in the UK.
Gaza United would get an investor before us.

Based on performances this season we’d be lucky to get 50k for him due to his age.

I don't think it's just a case of over the one season at least it's not for me. Its an accumulation of whats gone on over the past 4 or 5 seasons.

I'm tired of being told we have a promotion squad that looks pretty mediocre, tired of seeing ageing players come through the door to collect a final contract, sick of the manager merry go round and fed up of a total lack of Joy in going to the match.

    Enough is enough for me.
