The world is a very strange place these days Tone. A lot of very weird and frankly worrying agendas at play.

When mixed up kids are given subjects that will mix them up even more, what's going to happen? This notion of gender identity is guaranteed to appeal to someone who is struggling with themselves and the pressures of changing into an adult. It just lights a very dangerous fire. It's so sad for these kids that such influential media personalities are able to almost indoctrinate these kids and confuse them even more.

Had to laugh at the Labour Stockport conference. Pro Palestine supporters screaming at Angela Raynor to do more!!! Police were called and removed by force!

The left eating itself up - absolutely delicious.

They literally destroy themselves from within. They should be walking the next election due to Tory incompetence yet threaten to implode due to a confused manifesto. Amusing but ultimately sad that this country has nothing worth voting for.

Seems the Labour implosion is in full swing with the Rochdale by election. Politics is entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

The councillor in Rochdale isn't daft, he knows what will win him the seat at this byelection. It also explains why George Galloway is hovering round the area trying to pick up the seat.

I think it is called playing to the gallery.

It is however a massive own goal for Labour by opening up questions about the far left still being within the party.

As for Reform, aren't they standing a person who was kicked out of the Labour Party for sexting a 17 year old? I guess in Rochdale that's fair game.

Tip of the iceberg mate, many years ago when I worked in the foundry at GEC Thornbury I was shop steward for management (foremen) several years a thankless tack, so I told the union I would be giving up.
The next guy was Pakistani who asked if I would help him in negotiations when we went in to discuss our annual pay rise with management, you could imagine my suprise when the first two requests were management allowing 20% of the Muslim workforce to take the day off for the end of Eid, and the second was a prayer room, then our claim with regards more money.
As you can imagine all the labourers were Asian so 20% was a lot of men, the management came back with 10 % but no prayer room.
A couple of weeks later I was called up for management to tell me the Bradford Council of Mosques had been in touch and I had to find an area within the foundry for Friday prayers, I found an electric substation next to my office which they used untill the foundry closed down in 1990.
We've already seen the Mayor of Keighley back down and resigned with regards the flying of the Gay Pride flag over the town hall, telling his facebook followers " he was wholeheartedly sorry for participating in the event, and he was a Tory.
    Hard hat time ?.

Well what a disgrace Westminster was yesterday, why do MPs believe Israel will take any notice of what the UK say the USA aren't getting any cooperation with their calls for a cease fire, I posted the Israelis would see this through to the very end they have littler choice but to smash Hamas, will Israel allow it to become two states again allowing Hamas to reform and continue with their attacks.
But what is more concerning is the death threats MPS are getting and the abuse we are seeing from some who are protesting shouting for jihad and from the river to the sea etc if that is not anti-Semitic I don't know what is, why aren't the Met police doing something about it in London and other police forces around the country stopping anti sematic chanting, do they believe if they get involved there will be wholesale rioting.

Basically it was the Tories, SNP and Labour all playing games yesterday.

The SNP know there is sod all the vote will do to the tensions in the middle east but they hope to pick up votes off Labour by manipulating the situation for political gain.

Labour out in an amendment to allow its MPs who had been threatened and intimidated by the mob to vote for the motion.

The Tories knowing if they put in any amendment it would usually mean the Labour amendment would be rejected put something up to back Labour into a corner.

Whilst all this plays out actually MPs are receiving death threats and MPs of different parties are being intimidated. Tobias Elwood had people outside his house and family, Angela Rayner had been harassed in the street to name just 2 in the last week.

Add to this the thousands taking over London on a weekend making Jewish people frightened to leave the house and you really have the scummiest way of scoring political points whilst it's not even 2 and a half years since am MP of this parliament was murdered.

If I were the speaker I'd pull all debates on the middle east as we have enough shit to sort out here in the UK.

Whatever the politics in the UK, an immediate ceasefire should occur. Death of innocent men, women or children is not in my vocabulary

This is all fair and there's too much game playing in our politics.

The speaker going against protocol and ruining the smooth running of parliament to either save his party from embarrassment or save politicians from a mob is a different kind of issue though.

Some on here think it's ok to kill kids if some Israelis got killed first.

Some on here claim that's anti Semitic because they enjoy seeing Muslims get slaughtered. I can't fathom any other reason why people can justify the death of innocent children.

Yet my claim about islamaphobia will be rubbished whilst the spurious claims of anti semitism championed. The crazy times we live!

Do you think MPs getting death threats is acceptable, David Amess, Jo Cox, being resent examples losing their lives because someone took offence to their opinion, have a read of this hardly a right wing. paper https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/feb/22/death-threats-mps-politicians-protesters, no one should be allowed to march thought streets making the sort of claims we've heard recently, Muslims or otherwise it is not acceptable to most right minded people.
Don't you find it a little strange why many middle eastern countries don't open their borders to accept fellow muslims/Palestinians into their countries.
You seem to have a very short memory weren't you aware this sort of thing was going on in Bradford in 1988 after Salman Rushdie dare publish a book which was inspired by the life of the Islamic prophet Mohammad, it is people like yourself that try to shut down debate because it might upset others, well we live in a free society and as long as they aren't death threats etc people should be allowed to express their opinions.

Where on here has anyone said they enjoy seeing Muslims being slaughtered? Looking forward to seeing the evidence.
