I very much doubt it, I can change the party I vote for a party I believe might deliver on my views, I'm not too sure if its voting on a sectarian religious doctrine its easy to change.

There's plenty on the left that would never vote Tory and vice versa. I don't do the team vote thing, nor do you by the sounds of it. Likewise there are plenty who's religious beliefs aren't based on bigotry. Unfortunately plenty are and it's a shame that there isn't more acceptance of the beliefs and principles of others whether it's political or religious

Your correct I voted Labour all my life until the last two general elections in 2017 and 2019, I 100% endorse that comment with regards acceptance of other beliefs, its a crying shame some religions don't.

I'd rather have Hunt helping run the country over a vile chav that Rayner is

Yeah you would think Rayner would know how to properly complete forms. Scarily unable to. No different to any other MP though-just out for themself.

It's alway the way. People love to make out like the Tories are evil and greedy but Labour are nice and fluffy but they're all the same. All out to get what they can (which is largely fair), play the statem and avoid answering a straight question. Not a high calibre of individuals on either side unfortunately.

Hunt is just as utterly useless as Chancellor as Osborne and Sunak were, although admittedly not quite as disastrous as Kwarteng was - but that’s an impossibly low bar.

On any metric you care to name the Tories’ economic record for the past fourteen years has been, by a country mile, the worst of any government in living memory, even if you take Covid out of the equation. If they’d deliberately set out to make the worst possible mess of this country they couldn’t have done it any better than they actually have done. It’s totally bizarre that so many people, including you, are taken in by the myth that the Tories are economically competent. They’re simply not.

That's so very true, scandalous that they have tried to mirror a socialist regime ....

Oh yeah. Fourteen years of slash and burn cuts. All publicly run services absolutely decimated. Real wages of ordinary working people continuously reducing for the first time in living memory. Child poverty skyrocketing. Exponential rise in food bank reliance. Tax breaks for the super rich. Income inequality rate growing every year.
There’s nothing remotely socialist about any of that. But you just keep living in la la land, eh?

You'll probably have to listen to this a couple due to the fact you can't believe what you are hearing. This is the idiotic world we currently live in.

Not solely, no. But there are far more Tory MPs who are multiple landlords, hoovering up vast quantities of ex council houses on the cheap and charging exorbitant rents for them. These are the people who have bullied Sunak into watering down the proposed legislative protections for tenants in order to feather their own nests.
Davies is such a disgusting scumbag. Taking big sums for lobbying for the betting industry. Doesn’t surprise me at all that he’s letting out a house in Westminster while his wife is claiming top dollar for renting a flat nearby. Hopefully he’ll be out on his ear at last at the General Election.

I sort of get their point. When they bought the flat they were allowed to claim the mortgage payment back but then the rules changed and only rent was claimable. So it would have ended up costing them to stay in the flat they had a mortgage on so they rent it out to cover the mortgage costs whilst renting a flat elsewhere which can be claimed back. It would be cheaper for the state to pay the mortgage payment but it isn't allowed.

Lets not go down the moral route when it comes to MPs. They're all part of the problem. I don't like the Tories anymore than you do but if we start digging in the closets of Labour MPs we will find by and large they are just as bad.

We’ll have to agree to differ on that. Of course not all Labour politicians are squeaky clean. But they’re not in the same league as the Tories when it comes to money grabbing and twisting the system for their own benefit. They are the party of the old school tie establishment, which looks after its own with a nod, a wink and a secret handshake in the (all male) Garrick Club etc. You only need to look at the way they dished out billions in lucrative contracts to their friends for useless or non-existent PPI, and services that didn’t work, during the pandemic.

You can differ all you want but I'm right. They are all corrupt to a degree, some more than others. And it's the reason why I cannot vote for any of them. Simply picking and choosing an MP to suit your narrative simply overlooks the bigger problem of corruption within politics.
