65 goals, 17 assists, 120 league games. Anyone that slags him off is an idiot.

 

It makes me laugh with Cook.
Any other striker who plays against us and does nowt for 80 minutes but scores a late goal in a 1-0 win gets praised for keeping his head up and taking his only chance.
With Cook,he’s criticised for what he doesn’t do for 80 minutes rather than what he does for the last 10.

 

He'll be sh!t again on Tuesday night if he doesn't score.

Those commentators would have been yanking themselves stupid if Mullin scored that goal today.

That was his biggest loss of weight today in five minutes!

 

He’d make millions if he sold the formula..

 

I thought that to start with but having watched the penalty again a couple of times it wasn't that bad a penalty. Yes he should have scored but the keeper is diving away from the shot and gets lucky.

 

Although Mullin and Fletcher lead the line and link up well I doubt either of them would attempt that type of turn that Cooky does on the edge of the box. Sometimes he does it and it gets stuck in his feet and he ends up looking a numpty but it doesn't stop him trying, the turn and the determination got him that goal.
It's probably the years of supporter's frustration that gets him the undeserved stick he gets from some "fans". Bobby didn't get it and I don't remember fans giving Windass or Hanson the abuse that Andy Cook gets.
Another thing I noticed was when Cooky scored. There have been rumours of Andy Cook and Jake Young not getting on. Well when Cooky scored Jake Young went nuts and couldn't get to the Cooky Monster quick enough to celebrate with him.

 

Hanson used to get an obscene amount of unjustified criticism.
