You can’t say that! They are 3 of 5 "outstanding " centre halves we have, according to him

What a bonkers comment that was.

Didn't tune into the game at all, more pressing matters to attend to yesterday, but caught part of GA's post match interview.

Reminded me of Stuart McCall's last few interviews, when he sounded depressed and clueless as to what to do next.

The difference in GA's interviews since Christmas are tellingly stark. If you listen to his last post match interview with MK Dons, it's very similar.

The Rupp/Sparks effect has soon derailed GA's early positivity and confidence it would seem.

We are truly in an awful mess, and I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel I'm afraid.

I have zero enthusiasm for the rest of the season.

All I will say is we are very lucky Sutton and FGR are already doomed.

That about sums it up Tony. The lack of knowledge has always been glaringly obvious.

I think Tyriek Wright becoming an injury after just 65 minutes of football kinda called his hand, That and the fact no one bid anywhere near what we desperately wanted for him. To be fair he looked ok in the 45 minute cameo but jeez the bar of performance was set very yesterday. You can tell i'm still deflated Kev.

We were stood at the back, as close to the segregation as possible. As always there was a pocket of young home fans we were trading insults with, the usual banter etc. but when the first round of “Stefan Rupp, get out of our club” chants went off, the Swindon lot started singing “Stefan Rupp, get out of their club”. A very nice gesture from the spotty little oiks, who clearly empathise with us as I think they’re going through something similar?

Fair point, I was going to write about the wrongs and that’s where it started. Full backs playing as wing backs leaving a gaping hole in the corners for diagonal wide balls and the space being protected by three stiff as planks and slow as slugs centre backs.

    Can’t be bothered with Odour!

I wish Odour would au revoir. Absolute charlatan of a player. Does nothing. And to believe we’ve got him on a contract.

What does Alexander expect when he continually chops and changes the starting eleven. This club is completely lacking in leadership both on and off the pitch. Hughes was the closest we've had and it worked to a point. Alexander seems like a rabbit in the headlights. Looking back to our successful period and we had strong managers, who in turn had a strong representative on the pitch, or multiple strong leaders. Where are the leaders in this squad? If GA wants to turn this ship around he has to bring in some no nonsense nasty barstewards who don't give up and aren't afraid to dish out bollockings to their teammates. Look at the Middlesborough car pool and they're all regulars in the starting 11. With the exception of Halliday the other 3 tend to perform similarly. One sulk, they all sulk. All 3 in key positions. That's one click I'd look to break up straightaway.

Swindon arnt any better, but Flynn going WILL improve them. Odd they can get two or three loanees, play them and all three have an instant impact , yet ours are hardly seen?

I wonder about the North East clique. Smallwood in my view should be dropped. McDonald can do the job, plus he can and is a leader. GA is very vulnerable that is obvious from his interviews and probably would be nervous of puttin Mac in as a leader.
