We also need the right players in to do that, winning players have a built in motivation and organisation about them.

 

Can he not just simply play a style better suited to the players till he can can bring his own players in ?????
I mran i aint going fully piss around at the back for ages but something along the lines where we pass the ball rather than humping it up field ............... even the Swindon commentary said that Young was wasted that way and what did we do ????
Aimless fooking punts yet again, i mean the only time we nearly opened them up was passing it about.

Honestly we do have some footballers in there who can pass a ball but this aimless punts up field are a waste of fooking time and easy to deal with if you aint got thd players for it

 

So true and makes a total mockery of Sparks comments to Parker - Ryan for the love of god please go and take Gent with you. You took on a challenge and credit to you for this but you're failing miserably and change HAS to happen

 

Got to feel for those that went down to the game on the Shippers coach. They couldn't get it started after the game and they are still stuck at the ground.

The funny thing is in training, we don't play like we do on a matchday.
It's all on the floor and quick interchanges and players attacking.

No. He's out of contact at the end of the season so it certainly won't be a huge fee we'd get should he move on

 

Shocking display once again, many of the players we have it's common knowledge among everyone that most of them simply aren't good enough, and fair enough GA didn't sign them so he has to set them up the best he can by using his wealth of experience he has from his career, now for me honeymoon period is over and GA is now fair game and open to criticism and he should be criticised for his team selections now without doubt, I'm clearly no expert but to me the main errors look obvious, if you are going to play 3 at the back then that indicates you believe your defenders are good so can operate with 3 rather than needing 4 and that then allows you to play wingbacks to add more enthesis on attack instead, firstly our defenders aren't good or mobile enough to cover the ground as a 3, and then we play a defensive LB at LWB who has no attacking skills whatsoever and a RB at RWB who can do a job there if needed, it makes no sense at all, I could understand if we had good wing backs so we were playing a 3 allowing us to get them in the team but no we don't have any, it's baffling tbh i don't get it. Our squad as it stands screams out obviously for a back 4 simple as that. Gilliead or Smallwood sitting in front of them definitely not both of them, then that so far is 5 defensive players in your line up which is plenty for L2, then the other 5 players are all attacking options with tons of various options depending on peoples views.

 

Wouldnt take no notice of it bud i went down to one during the Hughes era an what they did for an hour never happened once during the next game

tbf he can't come out and slate the players. He's got to say they are good players, giving everything.

 

You're right. Today we had essentially 5 defenders and two defensive midfielders. Plus the keeper that's eight of our eleven. Smallwood and Gilliead create nothing so what we're really saying to the remaining three is, 'Go on, score us a goal,' Not surprisingly Oduor, Cook and Smith couldn't do it. Hughes did something similar with identical results.

 

Just go Sparks. You are the problem.

 

Exactly if he's the most creative based on he's only one that can move....its a massive problem

 

Maybe if he was a regular starter going forward a new contract could be dangled in front of him, maybe with him being a Bradford lad and like us an avide Bradford City fan promising him that if a good offer comes in the club would not stand in his way.
I think as with Oli McBurnie he could come on a bundle given the right coaching etc.

 

Unfortunately they were only quoting what we know, in an aerial battle they can hold their own but against lads with pace they struggle big time.

 

When you've been on all week about honesty with the fans I beg to differ, but know what you mean
