So you're complaining that 8am was too early for a 3 o clock kick off to be called off but want to be fully informed with a decision made before lunch time on a 7:45 kick off?

 

No one is asking for an inspection this morning. They are asking for a reasonable time. If I were travelling over from say Manchester, I would like to know before I sit in traffic on the M62 for an hour. Thats all. If that's at 4pm so be it. If it's clearly unplayable at 4pm or in serious doubt it's just common curtesy to inform the 16k people who are going to head over what the state of play is.

The club got it spot on this weekend, saved alot of people alot of time and effort.

 

Just looking at latest forecast for BBC and Met Office - hardley encouraging! Heavy raining starting shortly and continuing up to kick off, and 50 mph pplus winds all match! Iplayer for me, if it is on.

Well I don't know what the weather is actually like in Bradders at the moment, but where I work in Littleborough (near Rochdale) it has been absolutely bouncing down for the last 3 hours and is showing no signs of letting up

Saturday = call off 24 hours early
Tuesday = radio silence leaving fans in limbo.
Why no comms from the club today? Even just to say the pitch is fine right now or that there will be an inspection?

A late call for me would be ideal. My Tuesday match night ritual is fish and chips sat in the car on Kings Road before wandering to VP in time for kick off. Supposed to be on a diet so no chance of fish and chips if the game is called off early and I have to go home for dinner.
