Rain forecast from 9am right through to kick off.

Getting deja vu from the Rochdale home game last season, "will it, won't it" right up to kick off.

Let's hope if it is on that the conditions don't work against us by randomising the match a bit.

Well if we are working on the theme where games get called off on the likelihood they’ll not go ahead then why not call it off now as from 10am it’s gonna rain all day and night not to mention the amber wind warnings from 6pm.
What are we waiting for?

 

Just give everyone plenty of notice.

If it looks like a swamp at 4pm then no point in waiting till 6.30pm for a pitch inspection.

People just don't want to be treated like idiots where they see the club pushing ticket sales and ifollow sale all day long to suddenly drop a pitch inspection an hour before kick off.
It's bad PR and pisses everyone off.

 

Not holding my breath for this one to go ahead.

Might be an iFollow pass even if it does.

 

But they could be transparent and tell everyone there WILL be a pitch inspection and also send Mick out there to do regular videos on the state of the pitch and giving his honest assessment of whether he thinks the game stands a chance.
That way people can make their own mind up in an educated way whether to travel to the game.
Why is that so hard?
I’ll tell you why they won’t do it that way. Because they’d end up with no iFollow sales and a half empty stadium due to people not wanting to chance it.

 

With rain and fifty mph winds forecast for Bradford, plus GA’s style of football I’m not sure I’d even go that far

90% of ifollow sales take place in the hour before the game. Its a 30 second sign up.

As for people attending, again 90% have paid anyhow.

 

We've won 1 of our last 6 at home... Salford have won 1 of their last 6 away. As long as the rain isn't too bad I think the game goes ahead, but the form guide doesn't paint a classic!

 

Has anything been officially announced as to if/when a pitch inspection will take place? There is nothing on the website, but nothing new there

 

They announced the Stockport pitch inspection at 6pm for 6.15pm after being asked all day on the social media if the match was in danger of being called off. This kind of shit puts everyone off.
