I see we have the worst of both worlds here in Bradford.

We have a useless PM in Sunak and we have a useless Council Leader in Hinchcliffe, both who are totally out of their depth and making things worse for all people under their watch.

The council's latest idea is to close a few tips and libraries and sack a few hundred people whilst the same management who has been a disaster for year retains it's position. What a shitshow.

 

Yeah, nothing at all to do with Bradford Council’s budget being halved since 2010 and the spiralling cost of children’s services due to increased poverty and privatisation of placements.

To be fair both are culpable, the Tories for cutting back on services and giving us the system we now have, the council I wouldn't trust to run me a bath. How the hell did we end with up with cretins like Hinchcliffe and Ross-Shaw walking the corridors of city hall.

 

Bradford council have made an absolute disaster of the City centre with the current "roadworks".

It's almost unfathomable how badly it has been organised for motorists.

I’ve talked about this in previous posts, but this is confirmation. While Sunak persists with his bonkers, expensive, ineffective, illegal Rwanda nonsense, Labour is getting on with cultivating better relations with the EU than the Tories could ever do (because of their anti-EU history) and laying the groundwork for a return policy.
Quiet, sensible, constructive negotiations or grandstanding populist bollocks? I know which I think has the better chance of succeeding.
