The vast majority of people on any sort of 'protest march' are just naive idiots, sheep who follow whatever narrative is pushed out at the time. Most just repeat buzzwords like fascist, racist, genocide, something ending in phobic, nazi etc. And that goes for both sides of the argument 'gotta protect our cenotaph cos they're gonna blow it up' or 'our grand fathers didn't fight two world wars for this' when chances are their grand fathers weren't even around then.

 

My dad fought in the Second World War, Including D-Day plus 6 he would have been 20 at the time.

My granddad fought in the First World War in fact he was a prisoner of war at 14 years old, he was a big lad.

I don’t want anybody desecrating their memories, whether they are foolish idiots or not.

 

I feel this weekend could be a huge moment for the country going forward due to the highly disrespectful march. If there is trouble which I think is highly likely, it could mean we enter a new phase of Islamic terrorism and far right extremism which in turn by trying not to sound too dramatic a civil war down the line. However with what the media says ‘far right’ means putting a Union Jack flag in your garden. It really is a sad state of affairs, we have been a tolerant country for far too long, and the silent majority have had enough. The people we have let in and sought sanctuary here have stuck their proverbial two finger's up in our face. Strong leadership needed quickly.

 

The education system used to teach kids how to think. Now it teaches them what to think. They’re full of passion and opinions, without having the first clue why.

 

You could tell them shit tastes like chocolate and they'd eat it. Very few forward thinking people these days, merely sheep following the latest Instagram fad.

 

If it goes off peacefully mind I'll be the first to confess that I need to address my prejudices about the types of people that are vociferous in their support for Palestine. I'd also have to concede that they are unfairly represented by the general media and challenge my own misgivings. If, of course, the rally goes off peacefully.

Absolutely. It's a free pass for abdication of personal responsibility and making everything someone else's fault.

 

I’ve seen enough already to know even if this goes peacefully these protestors are evil scum.

The culture war has been going for years, and it wasn't started by Braverman or the Tories. She's one of few politicians speaking common sense, and I'd imagine if you're a jew in the UK it's a rare source of comfort having a Home Secretary speaking out against those who want to eradicate you.

 

Out of genuine interest which lessons did you attend that taught you how to think and which school was that? Were you privately educated or mainstream?

Well, I don't know about you but that question doesn't even seem in the slightest bit loaded.

 

The education system was highly imperialist, certainly when I was at school. Maybe if you and others would have learned that 10,000 palestinians died protecting the empire. Or that a big bunch of muslims also did. If we studied how the british army was supressed by terrorists in israel who bombed our lads because they were on holy jewish land then we might have a society that thinks about the complicated nature of the world we live and stop casting aspersions.
