I go to Poland a couple of times a year to visit. The country is built on Catholicism, the holy buildings in places like Krakow are amazing.

 

I'm looking forward to my first visit to Poland later this summer, Krakow and Zakopane

Not sure how BBC are running story of police investigating London Mayor hopeful Christmas Covid party rather than drinks party in House of Commons by one of the Deputy Speakers. Surely the possible breach of rules in Parliament is a bigger story?

 

Everyone of the public who were issued with a fine should have it returned. Clearly those who had all the data and set all the rules knew the risk for the vast majority of people was very low so they flaunted the rules daily it seems.

It has got to the point now where it would be easier to list those who weren't taking the piss.

I notice Sunak is going into hiding for 2 weeks and ducking PMQs. His arse was handed to him last week and he is failing on all 5 of his pledges. He seems to think hiding from plain sight might work out for him as the Tories continue to drop to low 20s in the polling.
These by-elections might get a few Tory rebels plotting.

 

Sunak has to be the weakest Tory prime minister in my lifetime, oh for a talented strong character such as Maggie again

It's unbelievable. Whatever you think about small boat crossings, no one can seriously deny that there will be terrified small children arriving at asylum centres. The idea that you would make life as unwelcoming as possible for traumatised kids, who have no say over what is happening to them, is mind-blowing egregious cruelty. It's a complete lack of common human decency.
This takes the Nasty Party to new depths of scumminess.

They don't send 30 year olds to child reception centres. The idea that painting over murals is any kind of deterrent is ridiculous. It's just cruelty for cruelty's sake and exposes the Tories for the heartless bastards they are, as if we didn't already know that.
