Pre-Season Friendlies 23/24

Yes me and the grandson are going, they sold well over 700 last week we could take a 1,000+ for a pre-season friendly, great that Bradford City have backed the new club hope they get back into the ELF asap.

 

Enjoyed the trips to Bury over the seasons. Yeah great backing, part of the reason I wanted to go was to support them as I was disappointed when they were kicked out.

Anyone wanting to go to the Bury game it has been made all ticket and there's less than 100 away tickets left.

 

Everything set up for a cracking Saturday afternoon out, if there are less than 100 away tickets left how many are we taking ?, great effort again it should give Bury a big financial boost.

Total capacity is limited to just over 2,200. Last update from someone at Bury a couple of weeks ago was that we had sold about 900

 

That sounds right obviously it wouldn't be like the past ground capacity but still a great turn out.

If anyone has a spare adult ticket for the bury game that I could buy would be greatly appreciated. Only just sorted annual leave for it today and finished work to see they’ve sold out

 

Should be a good day out, I'm looking forward to it.

I'm sure most will be going just for the football and liquid refreshment. However, I'll just chuck that the town centre has had a major refurbishment since we last played there. It is decent enough to potter around before the match now.

 

Why is it limited to 2,500 ? Appreciate the ground may need some TLC but that seems a bit drastic for a ground with a 12,500 capacity.

 

The normal away stand doesn't have a safety certificate yet and the main stand is closed for refurbishment. Sounds like the police have got involved as well so probably reduced capacity. They say that more stringent spectator management rules apply as we are an EFL club including alcohol can't be drunk in view of the pitch which is strange considering we always do it against BPA unless BPA are ignoring the rules which also wouldn't surprise me considering how badly the crowd control was last year.
