The issue is Bradford city are still ripping people off it doesn’t matter how you want to dress it up . Where Bradford city not man United . If people want to come and watch us abroad let them pay their 10 euro on the gate after they have spent their hard earned cash travelling across Europe . What's everyone's problem here? If you're not happy at what the club is doing then don't go. It's really that simple.
You're not obligated to pay anything. That's the thing about a free market economy.
I wouldn't mind but the vast majority of those moaning have absolutely no intention of going even if it was free

 

Not going and never had any intention of going, but that doesn't stop me from having an opinion about it, or from airing those opinions on a messageboard. The whole thing has appeared fishy from the get go, and now that we know fans of other English clubs are not being told the ONLY way they can attend is by buying an overpriced package and can instead just buy a ticket for 10 Euros, it looks even more dodgy. If you're happy with that and don't think the city fans that are going are being ripped off then fair enough, that's your opinion which you are as entitled to have as I am to have my opinion, which is different to yours.

 

If the club had an ounce of care for its supporters it would never have got involved with this scheme. Its a rip off, The fans know it and so must the club

 

The issue to me, even though I wouldn't be going anyway, is that the access to the match is only via this package, therefore at the price set by an outside company who are profiteering from it.

By all means sell a package to those who want it, but the tickets for the actual match should be available through other channels as well.

 

The only reason other clubs can pay 10 euros for a match ticket to enter Pinetar Stadium is because they originally booked there.. Eldense won promotion meaning our game could not be played at Eldense.. which was the original package plan.. it was not meant to be anywhere in the proximity of all these other clubs at Pinetar.. jesus christ.. thankfully the club have picked an excellent alternative for us.. happy days..

We have all been detail checked for police orders.. banning order.. outstanding issues with clubs etc etc etc to be able to attend this match and be involved in this package.. have you ever thought that is the reason why it is solely being sold by the club.. so they are able to police all its custom solidly as appose to ticket access and anybody being able to gain access.. common sense and a very good idea for a first trip..

We all need to take photo identification alongside are personal tickets or we will not be allowed entry into this game regardless.. so nobody who has not bought this package is getting into this game.. its simple..

I get your point but if you look at the bigger picture and have a brain you will see it is the clubs first trip and it is being used by them the purchase only from the club feature as a complete way of policing this fixture.. they will be worried owt goes off and have put a very good strategy in place..

The club has put a sound original idea together that needed a back up due to Eldense promotion at the death.. they have sorted that spot on and its shaping up well.. fair play to the club..

Need to say this though.. 2 many looking at this selfishly.. personally.. gutted they actually aint going.. not at the bigger picture..

First off, how do you know it's a rip off? You've arrived at this conclusion without a shred of evidence. The only way is when it happens and the people to judge this will be the ones who bought a package.
And if fans know it's a rip off then how come a rumoured 100 have signed up?
Once again opinion is passed off as facts.

Didn't have all this schit when I saw City in Dublin and Echterdingen and, it didn't kick off !!!

Interesting how the club have softly announced the deadline only applies to gold/silver packages.

 

1) its done via a travel company that was founded in march this year
2) the founder of this company has already worked with sparks and longo while at featherstone rovers
3) the packages state that the hotel’s advertised may not be selected due to demand.
4) due to this not having ABTA protection and the sbove statement they could legally send fans to the hotel in the inberweeners or the solana with 0 recourse. 5) we are charging £59 on coach and ticket whilst stockport are charging 10/5 euros just for entry to the match no package…

it doesn't cost £50 each for a transfer. It would probably be cheaper to get a taxi yourself…

we are taking on all the risk here with little reward.

Transfer doesn’t turn up? Tough. You pay for a taxi to take you there? As its not ABTA protected no reimbursement for you. Deny entry to the venue? Tough. No refund. Hotel is not to standard? Tough.

It is a massive cash grab.

I am also not going to get dragging into the fallacy of because x number of people do something its a good idea…

I would have gone if it was protected or via a reputable company with no links to sparks.

i do normally like sparks but this has soured my opinion of him slightly.

Not reeally had any interest in this because I couldnt give a flying fook about this trip.

But what have Stockport got to do with it all???

 

Stockport are in L2 like we are, at the same venue with none of this package malarky.

People on here were suggesting packages are needed for European away days. Stockport have proven that notion as false.
