Very impressed with young Bobby. Its early days but I think we see him in the squad at Crawley.

The circus isn't the match itself, its trying to make some money out of getting people to pay for a package that includes a match that will be rolling teams, played in super heat on a pitch that is basically no better than University of Leeds sports ground.

Absolutely right that we should have a match of some description at the end of the training camp, but it was foolhardy and greedy to sell packages for people to go watch it. It should have just been a free for all, turn up if you are in Spain by all means.

 

I just can’t understand Hughes at all. He watches the same games we watch from a perfect position. Why can’t he see that playing out from the back is putting us under unnecessary pressure totally self inflicted. He can keep his possession policy without precarious playing the ball back and forward in our own penalty area, we haven’t the ability to do it and it cost us last year and will do the same this. Please have a rethink.

Getafe are quite clearly at a different level than we are. This is nothing but a training exercise in very hot conditions.

As a pro, surely Smallwood should realise that he continuously overhits free kicks, therefore not to hit them with so much pace?
Hell he was doing it all last season, someone must realise - why can't Hughes see this and bloomin' well tell him???

 

I know it's a friendly but it does my nut in when the ball is on the half way 20 seconds after we've taken a corner.
