I wonder what the likes of (Edgeley Volunteer Force) and YCV (Young County Volunteers) are actually volunteering for what's that all about, is it similar to the "Ultra's" at many Europe clubs ?.

If the above poll is anything to go by, a lot of supporters aren't overly bothered about making the trip anyway. I don't see the point in getting worked up if you're not going out there. It's a preseason friendly, fitness builder and kick about in the sun. Spend the money on a long weekend in ibiza and wait for the real stuff to start. Don't get wound up about a trip you probably had no intention of going to in the first place. Just my opinion...

 

Can’t think of anything worse than going to watch a half-paced friendly in hot conditions. What a waste of money.

I did not go directly because of it being with Kadima. if it was just tickets i would have gone 100% and if it becomes ticket only I will go.

ATM with all the packages you have to get on the coach to get your actual ticket/wristband to gain entry.

its a just a shame its messing the fans about and I think as fans we should look out for each other.

 

It's a 130km journey from pick up to the stadium which would cost at least 60 euros one way in a taxi so it's a lot cheaper.
Also ABTA only applies to packages that include flights so why would you expect the package to be covered by it?

Essentially, you book a package when you buy two or more travel services together. A package holiday must cover a period of at least 24 hours or involve overnight accommodation and is a combination of at least two different types of travel services, which are listed below:

It counts as a package holiday if your travel company:

• Has asked you to pay a single price through a single payment, or
• Has let you select a combination of services – such as a flight and accommodation – before you agreed to pay for them, or
• Charged you an inclusive or total price for all the services you bought, or
• Advertised or sold the travel services to you as a package or similar term, or
• Sold you one travel service; and then transferred your details, including your payment details to another company which you then booked another travel service through within the space of 24 hours.

Either someone has told you fat porkies or you have got ATOL and ABTA protection mixed up.

Regarding your first comment, https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Benidorm/San-Pedro-del-Pinatar suggests its £11 for the same journey via bus. A coach with 60 people on it paying £49 each is not good value for money.

 

Lets hope (for those wanting to go in the future) they take feedback onboard for the next overseas venture.

 

Has anyone actually received tickets for the Spain fixture? I am on a family holiday in Benidorm that weekend so purchased 2 bronze packages. Haven't heard anything since. Is this just Robin Sparks and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid(a cowboy firm) ripping City fans off
