Booked seats eventually in block F Midland Road. shortly after they added that you can have your own season ticket seats so tried to buy them but I presume that because Id purchased tickets in block F it wouldn't let me. I've emailed them lets see if I get a reply.

He has indeed had a mare patting himself on the back for doing it in 4 hours where they should have been getting this sorted from last week!

What he's failed to take into account is because all the seats were greyed out alot of people bought seats elsewhere. Now the people in the Midland Rd stand who have been moved and wanted to sort early so they can get decent ish seats can't get those seats. I sort of understand the thinking of wanting us behind both goals but it would have been a lot easier to either let everyone stay where they are or just open up all the seats to season ticket holders. The easy win for them here would have just been to hold of to tomorrow, make sure it works and let everyone get their season ticket seat

Bet there are some un happy staff having to deal with all the emails in to Marco, Ryan, Reception, Ticket helpdesk, Mick etc plus the team not only having to sell tickets tomorrow but also deal with all the transfers

Yes some clear headed thinking was required here. Now it will be all hands on decks for the staff to try and clear the computer of all those that want to actually buy their season ticket seats. We just thought we might as well all sit together if we can’t have ST and my son could only buy at the bottom of the kop. He has sent an email, but none of us can buy our season ticket seats until those seats are released.

    Thanks for the Twitter content.

Mmm. It appears from the Head of Ticketing that we have chosen to accommodate 3,200 Carlisle supporters which incidentally is approx 700 more than is usually provided for an EFL game and significantly more than the 2,000 required under the EFL regs. That's very good on our part to provide more space for opposition fans than is required!

The consequence of that decision by somebody at our club us to inconvenience every City supporter with a season ticket in the Midland Road stand and expect them to move and sit elsewhere to accommodate another 700 away fans. The fans loyalty over many years has simply been overridden for some unexplained reason. Groups of fans may not be able to sit together for the final match at VP. Friendships which have developed over many years are ignored and moving to the upper tier of the Sunwin where many fans refuse to sit may be the only option. Of course, some could move to the TL Dallas where the facilities are sadly lacking. And all because somebody at the club fails has failed to understand the implications for existing fans of providing extra accommodation for away supporters.

I hope that rather than slap each other on the back for the good job they've done to accommodate extra Carlisle fans, they now explain to 3,000 fans in the MR why they are to be inconconvenienced on this final important game when it could all have been so easily avoided.

Personally it doesn't affect me but i've seen messages on here stating it should be like a cup game where it's a free for all tickets but i don't agree. This is essentially another league game, why shouldn't fans be afforded the chance to sit where they always have for what is one of the biggest league games we've had for years?

the problem is the current situation is the worst of both worlds. Some have their seats and some can not. Everyone should be the same

Weirdly though Carlisle say they have got 2440 tickets which means there is about 500 used to segregate fans.
Should have just given them the 2,000 that the rules state, odds on they screw us over

All that “ they” have done is organise chaos and uncertainty for potentially 3,000 of our fans at the expense of 700 Carlilse fans and much higher policing and security costs. I just wonder , and this isn’t a pop at Carlisle, if they actually will sell those Xtra tickets anyway?

A reet farce with a shit show of an outcome!
