25 Year 'Season Tickets' (Now with Suites Poll)

I’ve personally emailed Ryan Sparks but had no reply (yet) about taking liberties with some of the most loyal. It’s the principle, it’s not about money. It’s a 50% increase as I never use the suite upgrade. A) Because there are no suites in midland road, and B) I don’t want to give up my long time seat. So for me, the prices ARE NOT FIXED as they are proclaiming.

 

I hope you put something in the subject line about vehicle warranty or viagra.

You're correct, it's a 50% price increase. Maths never was my strong point. Even more outrageous than I thought!

 

Thing is they have set the price for the 25 year ticket holders and said it is a free suite upgrade rather than saying buy a suite pass and get a free ticket. I understand the complaints but they have worded it so there are no different prices

 

But it is a 50% increase on what most of us paid last year. I'm not interested in a suite pass and nor are many others, some of whom sit in a stand where there is no suite!

The same is happening to those fans who sit in seats in the EXJ. You can’t sit in them without the add on suite access. So although it states the increase is for the suites it amounts to a seat price increase. We went up there for the space and the view. It is also nice to have better toilet facilities.

 

I totally agree, my point was more in response to those talking about OAP, young person pricing

I don't care. I'll just pay the new price and have done with it. We need the dosh to build a L1 squad and can't have it both ways. Plus I never use a suite anyway.

 

I get this point and I've already paid so I suppose I'm in this group but it does rankle a bit that out of the 15,000 or so ST holders we are the ONLY ones to have been hit with a price rise and not only that, it's a huge 50% price rise.

I’ve also emailed the supporters board and their chairman has promised to bring this up at their next meeting.

The thing that upsets me most is the total lack of communication, more so in how the club operates. You provide a vacuum and people will fill it and can make accusations, etc that others read and these can affect their thinking. Saying something has to be better than saying nothing. It also shows a bit of a disregard to loyal supporters and that doesn’t sit right. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll buy the ticket and realise it is a much cheaper price than many, many football fans pay, but showing a bit of respect never goes amiss.

 

Seems like nobody has - me included.
