So, has anyone noticed the Willy Topp thread posted today? Now call me a conspiracy theorist but the fact that Blackburn and ourselves are being held up can only mean one thing. We were about to sign Ben Brereton Diaz with Willy being his agent but it was all dependent on Blackburn getting O’Brien in! Easy this speculating caper.

Just a suggestion here but Kyle lafferty left Kilmarnock on deadline day due to disciplinary reasons but it doesn’t say where he has gone

 

Just read on BRFC forum that the EFL have vetoed L. O’B loan deal from Forest after appeal.

Not sure where that leaves us or LOB tbh.

Its not his agents fault though, apparently its the people running Blackburn Rovers , that don't seem to know EFL rules.

 

I think it may leave him out of the Forest 25 man PL squad, so the poor lad is stuck in the under 21’s. If I’m reading it correctly of course.

Reading the Blackburn web site it looks like all the relevant forms were signed but one of them was not submitted to the EFL on time hence the veto. Doesn’t have any impact on us unless we were trying to get someone from Blackburn then we may have an issue if again they’ve not submitted the relevant forms in time

Looking at Forest, They'll be a dozen outside the 25 Man PL squad the amount they've signed this season. He'll have plenty of friends in the 21's

 

Forest were hoping to sign a forward,but that was dependent on O'Brien leaving to make a space in the squad,,so O'Briens space may still be secure.

 

Even if he is still in the squad, realistically, how much game time is he likely to get? Probably not a great deal more than if he's not in the squad to be honest.
