Seems like its Lewis O'Brien, doesn't look like there's space to register O'Brien play in the prem for the second half of the season, so he's going to have a fun 6 months if the deal falls through.

It sounded to me that we'd reached an agreement with the club late one which would mean we've offered a fee. The player then had a late decision to be made.

That would also make more sense in terms of why its taking more time because of the player was unattached then the paperwork and the "deal sheet" evidence would have been much simpler.

He's still young and was a top end Championship player last season. I'm not sure him going back out on loan is any kind of long term justification.

 

I think with the length it’s taking it must be someone from overseas or Scotland

I'm sorry but I don't get all this nonsense, I don't see the point in having a transfer deadline if things like this can drag on for two days beyond the deadline.

Just do away with it, I know the EFL/PL will only have so many officials able to sign off on these things but to say the cut off is 11pm on Tuesday and you are still waiting to see if someone was signed In time at 12.50 on a Thursday is just ridiculous.

If it's not done by 11pm, then it's not done at all. Your own fault for leaving it too late.

Equivalent to all these silly buggers who doing their Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and moaning they didn't manage to get hold of something.

 

Blackburn hope to sign Lewis O'Brien on loan with an clause that if they get promoted then they by him so they must see him as a potential Premier League player as well.

Got to feel for Lewis O'Brien if this deal doesn't go through it looks like he could be stuck in the U23s for the rest of the season as he could miss out on their 25 man squad so can't play in the league.

 

Obviously the EFL have got the apprentice office junior onto this. Or they are on strike............ Or they have declined and MH is screaming down the phone at them.
