Exactly, that's what I've been saying for some time. Arguably, although he's scoring for fun, neither is Cook or Oliver. And now we've got even more wide players Oliver, Angol and Harratt can only hope for the odd sub appearance. Unless Cook's goals dry up, and then the best option for me is Angol. I couldn't go yesterday but from the reports on here we didn't play well. Personally, I think Angol is the best option to get the best out of our numerous forward players and create more chances as a team. But I don't think Hughes sees it like that. I can fully understand how Harratt might feel. He's not going to get a start so he'd be better off elsewhere in January.

I suggest Angol sells any animals he may own, divorce his Mrs and get rid of the PS4.

I’d never sell our two Labradors, no matter the problem. Part of the family!

It is odd, it’s not a second hand car he’s selling it’s two dogs. Dog for life and all that.

    What a strange fellow.

Gone down significantly in my estimations.

We have a sighthound, and we know how loyal they are. They don't rehome well once they've been in a family home as a general rule.

Also, the lad is a substitute through-and-through. He made like 5 starts last season, and couldn't get in Harrogate's team when they weren't even EFL.

He's 20, and while I like the idea of knuckling down and dedicating himself to the sport, this seems a bizarre way to do it.

Was Harratt a regular starter for Port Vale? Seeing him for the first time live yesterday, there was a moment when he failed to make an attempt to stop the centre half waltzing forward. Hughes certainly let him know it wasn’t good enough. Maybe as a young excitable striker he’s still got lots to learn.

Whilst it's admirable that he wants to dedicate his life to football, citing his dogs as a distraction has to be one of the most idiotic things I've read.

    Very bizarre.

Some of his team mates will have babies and toddlers and they certainly take more looking after than dogs.

I admire his determination to knuckle down and prove he is worth holding down a regular place in the team, but surely he doesn't have to sacrifice his dogs in doing so

What does it matter what a player does in their private life if no laws are being broken?

Are people that obsessed that they are stalking this lads Facebook?

Yeah, I remember that, he was three or four yards from the Walsall player, if he'd tracked him, he'd have given the centre half less time to play the ball.

We don't know what he really does with the dogs though. Not everyone has them as pets heartless as it seems people who have them as "working dogs" often don't view them like pets. I know a couple of people who have working dogs and while they take good care of them they are like tools really.

Hughes is going to have a hard time keeping everyone happy. Kians got talent and fair play to him if he's getting focused on his football.

I am not sure it is very wise for footballers to be active on social media except after a good performance.
I think the club could and should be giving our very young players guidance on how to use Facebook, Twitter etc. if they wish to use it.

Don’t give a Monkeys what a player does in his private life legally of course or what he puts on social media. It’s what he does on the pitch that matters

I'm not sure that's the answer because they already get criticised by some if they only post after a good performance and don't say anything when things aren't going so well.
I posted a tweet yesterday about someone overhearing a conversation between two City staff members after the game on Saturday, saying that Kian was unhappy because he isn't starting games, and somehow, this has been linked to him wanting to sell his dogs. I have no idea whether one has anything to do with the other, but considering he first posted about wanting to sell his dog in July, I'd guess not and think people are putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.

I'm pretty sure that Huddersfield sent him here rather that back to Port Vale with the intention that he would be a regular starter. He has obviously got something about him. Like others have said I can see him being recalled in Jan and sent somewhere where he will get more game time. Pity because he needs to be playing
