The lad from barrow is paudies replacement ,he’s a right sided central defender .Again I think I’ve been thinking we’re going to get proven players from division 1 at least and named players who we all know and mould them into a promotion team and spend a bit of money ,looks to me like we’re trying to get good young lads and hope to get a team out of them ,Here’s hoping for a exciting time ,but it could be a rollercoaster of a season

 

I can see why people might see this as a strange signing mainly because most were expecting Odusina to sign. The reviews from Swindon fans are positive its difficult to form a judgement after one game we've all seen the majority of our team have stinkers in one game or another. Let's hope he really kicks on with us be refreshing to see a bit of pace at the back!

 

He wil do for me mate. Swindon fans love him. The other dogbonker was loved by port vale. Give them a chance. Cant be worse than Theo or Guthrie ffs.

 

Too many miserable g..s on here at times, just lighten up a bit and get behind what Hughes is building, he won't leave us short and he knows what our objectives have to be this season. Just stop putting a negative spin on everything

Think it’s worth pointing out that he played on the left of a back three at Swindon whereas we play a back four.

Songo’o was outstanding in the last few weeks of the season and is going to take some shifting. He is experienced as well so he may be first choice

 

League 2 players can't understand how to play in a back three, they only understand 4-4-2, so he's going to be immense based on the positive reviews he's getting from the Swindon fans.

 

We did last season. Doesn't necessarily mean we will this coming season. Hughes had to cut his coat according to the cloth he was left with. Who knows what formation he will choose now he's got his own players around him?

 

MH prefers 4-2-3 -1 but does switch to 4-4-2 when chasing a game.

 

His profile is pretty similar to Paudie’s when he came in on loan although I think Crichlow has actually played more games and had a better performances in those games reading various articles and the Swindon forum. Paudie did well and got a three year contract. Why can't this lad do the same?

 

True mate, some people get fixated by names and rumours and judge accordingly but I guarantee they will know next to nothing about Romoney! They moan because he is not the toy they wanted, I hope he has a storming season with us

I think we’re crying out for a couple of 30+ year olds who can do it on wet and cold November afternoon. A Lee Bullock/Gary Liddle/Ricky Ravenhill type, someone who has been there and who can rally the troops when the tough gets going.

Swindon season ticket holder here - really surprised by some of the comments on here. Clearly haven’t seen much of the lad. Really good player, it’s surprised me that he would come back to league 2, gutted he hasn’t come back to Swindon. Fully expected him to be in league one this season.
