Exactly right. Nothing wrong with steady 7/10 full backs. Hendrie just ain't one.

I was disappointed with Foulds today. He's looked energetic and up for it in previous matches, but today looked leggy and off the pace. Out of position too. I suppose now we see the real metal of certain players, having the pressure of selection from a new manager on their shoulders. Sutton (in the first half) looked to know what's needed, but the rest of them, I'm not so sure. Gillead at a push. Funny how the "new manager effect" seems to work for every other team except us.

 

You have missed the point but anyway we need steady reliable full backs and Hendrie and Ridalgh will be that.

 

If the timing had been worse this is a relegation side nailed on. With all the Hughes fan fare and that it seems to have escaped people that this club has and is still run by sheer incompetents. Was anyone really surprised by todays result? A complete waste of a season and an insult to the thousands of loyal city fans who turn up week on week. Hughes really has hiw work cut out taking this poisoned chalice on.

If ever anything sums up our season, it's the lack of "warm food". Other fans would be expecting "piping hot". Us City fans would make do with warm.

Can we try a different approach to chanting the managers name as Mark Hughes Bradford Army just didn't flow at all today.

Agreed, Mansfield were really good at closing City down, this seems to be beyond us at the moment but Hughes needs to instill the hunt in packs mentality.
It is not a hard trick to learn.

 

In fairness that L1 relegations team problem was never a lack of ability, the team we have now is just crap in the large part unfortunately. caddis and luke o brien would revolutionise this side on their own never mind anyone else

 

No I didn’t miss your point, my point been if we want to improve and move forward and get out of this shit league we need better than Hendrie. Hartlepool we’re quite happy to let him go is that we’re we are at now as a team?

 

I thought there would be some noise from our fans today with MH coming in but there was very little in terms of support from the stands compared to Mansfield.
I'm sure people will say 'what's there to shout about?' But I was hoping for something. We have to do better ourselves. It might as well have been a home game for the stags.
Yes we can't create decent chances and yes they have mistakes in them, but if we 14000 home supporters get outsung for the entire afternoon by 2000 even having a new manager of MH's calibre then perhaps it's not all everyone else's fault

 

To be fair if you stop Watt and Cook you’ll be fine.
