Too soon as yet to say we lack ambition. Crucial for me, and probably for a lot of other people too, is what is done with the profits made from selling an improved player. If it goes on a player who is no better than the first one when he started, then we have no ambition. If it goes on buying a player who is better than the first one when he started then we have ambition. Rung by rung we will climb the ladder to the championship. Too soon to tell at the moment.

 

Agree hope we do as you outlined but apart from Wyke and probably McGowan and now in our 3rd season will we have improved. We have to see the recruits to see what they bring to the table but as it stands the majority lack first team experience so will probably have spells of inconsistency. Hopefully the later recruits will make up for that.

 

I think it should be like “flashing a card” at a ref to get another player booked, and getting a y low yourself.

If you ask for someone to be banned (without breaking rules), you should he given a week ‘rest’ yourself

Wishful thinking, Jack is too frail to take on day to day involvement of Bradford City, but he still enjoys his football.

i back edin and the team they have a plan long term for the club. we are in for a few difficult seasons no doubt however we could build a great club long term its worked time and time again town and arsenal both under Herbert chapman man u in the 50s liverpool west ham and leeds in the 60s leeds by the way were total rubbish in the early 60s with crowds of 8000 yet 10 years on won the title. ipsich tried it in the late 70s early 80s the united team of the 90s and not exactly the same clough signed a lot of unproven young lads for both darby and forest. city have done nothing for years if we are honest yes a few good cup runs and the odd wembly trip but overall we have only one major honer and that was so long ago even my grandad could no remember it and hes been dead 30 year. with out a billionaire buying us success like man city or Chelsea its never going to happen unless you build from the bottom up do i like r and r not really never been keen on germans i find him arogent and condisending do i like his long term plan yes . i understand there are business men but that only means they want a successful club then they can cash in . if in 10 years we are in the prem a there cash in the club at 30 ot 40 million well done them. it may take 3 or 4 seasons to the championship then 5 or 6 agian to prem id be very happy at that

Don't know about John and the Bulls, Park but I think I' right saying he has no interest in City and as far as I know, neither has Sam.
The other son Ian, I think has been to games over the years but I don't think he goes now which leaves Jack. As Bronco says he enjoys the games but in his mid 80's now he tends not to see Tuesday matches unless the weather is really nice and like so many Bantams fans last season was not a great one in his eyes, I feel.
JCT are significant sponsors with shirts and the main stand when they stepped in when there was no one else but as to the future, who knows.

 

Stefan can have as much money as Bill Gates, but if he won't put any into the club it's irrelevant.

JCT have been good servants to this club regarding sponsorship, one of the few remaining decent sized companies left in Bradford. I would worry if they ever pulled the plug, not an easy place to pull in sponsorship in Bradford.
