Well seeing as they own the club and the bank account then I would say its likely both of your suggestions as ST money is technically their money and I would think , based on recent signings, that they have also dipped into other pots of money however modest.

I see the comments Norman posted just before this one by City Loyal - all I am going to say is this one is in my opinion far more balanced and a truer reflection on where most City fans are currently feeling about the club. I am sure we are all feeling a bit happier about the signings this week and congrats to all the management team for making this happen - but you cannot brush under the carpet what has happened since the new year and we have a very young and inexperienced coach in place who now has to make all of this work, having the players is one thing but getting them to perform as a team is a whole different challenge. So well done Edin and the guys for this weeks developments but a bit soon to be blowing your own trumpet Norman and belittling other posters - there is still a long way to go

I totally agree with you Simon. Bury last season showed that even assembling a talented squad can get you relegated if you don't get them playing as a team.
I sincerely hope that Rahic has got the right man in Collins. He said it was their most important decision and for once I agree with him. I am fervently hoping he's as good as Rahic thinks he is and I'll be happy to give them all the credit in the world when we finish in the top six come May next year.

 

Is it as simple as that? Could it be that Edin didn't like Stuart's attitude that he knew more about football than Edin? We all know that Edin wanted Stuart to go before last season started and one thing for sure, Stuart did not get the backing that we have seen this time around.

 

As long as he doesn't let Edin know that he thinks he knows more about football than him, he will be fine.

 

How ironic, you take every opportunity to diss McCall, but yes wouldn't it have been great to see players of this potencial coming in last closed season rather than the likes of Patrick, Poleon ETC.

I disagree and believe that many of the comments and concerns voiced by fans on this site and others convinced and persuaded the owners to start loosening the purse strings. I hope that it all starts to click over the next couple of months.
