But on the flip side we are 3rd and others around us are in the same kind of form.
We as supporters have to be patient.
We could play poor and get points all season.
I remember the beginning of the 12/13 season.
We got battered at Rotherham 4-0 then drew away at Accrington the week after.
I was livid and calling for Parky's head.
    Look what happened.

Also Paudie's header that went wide of the left post early doors was easy enough.

And cook second half lashing into the side netting, should have gone across the keeper. We have all said finishing this season could cost us . definately did today.

Sorry I haven’t read previous comments but wished we’d capitalised on their man getting sending off just before half time, I knew they’d bed in for the draw after half time and they’ve succeeded. Big result for them, poor for us, was discussing with partner how Adam’s should be able to capitalise on their one man deficit but sadly but not unexpectedly happened

I had two quid on Oconnor to score first within 20 mins. At 66/1. Imagine how much I was shouting at the box for that miss :)

I agree it was an open net what Sunday league teams should be scoring, it was one of those games where some players just didn’t do enough in the final third and we conceded a cheap goal. Should have won, 2 points dropped but every team will have them multiple times over the season. We’ve all seen enough of these sort of games in the past.

Ten men, doged defending and what can only be described as professional time wasting job done by Walsall.
We need to be more savvy in and around the box simple.
Lessons must be learnt from today's performance if we want to consolidate our present league position that's for sure.
Certainly not the end of the world but two points dropped at home today against a woeful Brummy outfit.

Yes that sums it up. They were a nobody in the second half , 8 men in the box….job done.

I was disappointed in Threlkeld today he looks very average

I thought Watt was too slow as the game wore on and Gilliead had a very poor game in my opinion never threatened when we needed to

Cooke's corners second half were poor

All that said the finishing was poor Cook had lots of chances the header at a free goal from Vernam was awful and he knew it everybody had chances but most of all what annoyed me was even when they had three big centre backs in the area with 20 minutes to go all we tried to do was clip soft balls into the area and endless crosses that we never looked like scoring from

Nobody in midfield had the urgency to shoot from distance but then I'm not sure that's any of their games they are all cultured midfielders when what we needed was a battering ram

No good options on the bench was a real shame and I think it cost us to be honest

On the plus side we were much the better team even with 11 vs 11 and we never looked like losing I'm not cross about it just a bit disappointed

Never mind move on clearly we're not the sort of side that will alter our approach much that's okay though as long as it works more often than not

I didn't think we were the better team 11 v 11 at all.

You must have been watching a different game to me then because we carved them open at will I think they had about as many chances but until the goal those chances were of a different quality to ours

We missed some real sitters they took their best chance

Much the better side to be honest

2 points dropped. That was poor.

However, we move on but this is what happens when you are counting on Cook and Cook who both are not good enough to be counted upon but will do a job.

Our full backs were awful today. Cross was shocking.

Very frustrating afternoon. Walsall were there for the beating, apart from their tricky number 7, they offered nothing at all, Miller still as poor as he was when he was here, for example.

Attacking wise we looked too predictable in that second half, all those crosses were meat and drink for their central defenders in that second half attack and defence.

Very worrying that we are relying on Cook too much, he had a poor game against his old club, but we have no decent alternatives now that Angol is injured.

Defence had his usual lapse of concentration to concede a very soft goal.

Good that we are still in the top 3, but a lot of improvement need to stay there

We were the home side so I expect us to have more of the ball but didn't do much with it. A few chances but they looked like the better passing side to me.
