I’m sure there was more differential pricing. Main stand C and D block was more at one point as they are central. E and F were cheaper as they family areas.

as I said the view from the centre top Kop is a better view than from front of B block in main stand.

Point is all of the things I listed Sparks has said he is looking to improve. Nothing worse then improvement happens then it seems like you have to pay more to cover the costs of improvement.

So, put the prices up now then we crack on. Yeah I am still going to the gym. My 6 pack isn't cheap.

Sparks said: “We would probably go away from the traditional season-ticket campaign that the club have been known for.

“I think it’s run its race. Cheap ticketing is a great initiative and I don’t intend to raise it by any significant amount.

“I want to make football affordable but I also want this club to challenge for silverware.”

That's a tick from me Ryan. Without an increase in pricing next season, just how are we to make a dint in the losses in season ticket sales revenues. A loss of ST revenue surely would result in reduced spend on the pitch as well as off.

In the past there has definitely been different rates for different blocks in main stand.I’ve always been block B and I’m sure C and D were more expensive l.Don’t think it lasted right long though

I take a slightly different view and would pitch the price of Season Tickets at £229.77.

You may wonder why such a figure.

Well that works out at £9.99 a match and is still under a £10, which strikes me as a very fair price.

I would also offer a similar price of £9.99 for match day tickets to Season Ticket holders, for home cup games.

I think it is psychologically more difficult to argue against the ‘match by match’ price.

Whilst I agree with Bronco about the Covid angle, we have to bite the bullet and get away from shopping at B&M every year that comes with £150 tickets. Covid has affected a lot of people in a positive way financially with not spending money on beer, theatres, holidays and eating out etc. Some will be more than happy to take it now, others won't.

Guess the answer will be in what percentage of the survey responses agree with an increase.

Big gamble if Sparks is upping ticket prices.

There hasn't been a worse time to do such s thing since WW2.

No, it's not a gamble at all. Why is it a gamble?

Do you understand that many people have more disposable income now because they didn't go on holiday or buy new cars etc.

All this makes perfect business sense for Bradford City.

Hopefully, it will be around this price point.

Is it? Many businesses have done well from covid.

You try and order a new kitchen or carpets and see how long the waiting time is. People have money to spend.

Prices at Bradford City need to go up and go up now. Rhodes should have put them up ages ago.

We can't afford not to put our prices up.

I would expect the likes of your above to be kept up to date as it is part of the terms of leasing I'd say, the appearance of the facilities are paramount if you want to make use of them other than match days.

Again I believe after what everyone has been through in the last 12/14 months it would not be wise IMO to increase them for the coming season.

According to the Bank Of England the UK is in for it's biggest economic bounce since WW2 in 2021, so I would argue that it's potentially the best time to do it.

Let the owner invest more of his wealth as it will be the owner who benefits on the long run from any promotion we may achieve, that's part of the selling point for must clubs what division their in and what potential the club has going forward, so dig a little deeper Stefan.

No, few businesses have done well from Covid, but some of those that have have done incredibly well. Many businesses have struggled severely across multiple sectors, and sales overall are well down.

Employment has been hit very hard, with number of hours worked and number of jobs also well down.

    https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/agents-summary/2020/2020-q4/impact-of-covid-19-on-uk-businesses-evidence-from-the-decision-maker-panel-in-2020-q4

That's pretty obvious considering a lot of businesses couldn't operate AT ALL.

Waiting times aren't a sign of success, they're a sign of what we all know - normal operation has not been taking place so there's a backlog. Do you think increased waiting time for surgery is a sign of success? Or a sign that a lot of them have been postponed?

It's ridiculous that people are looking at a cataclysmic, economy-ravaging pandemic and saying "yeah but there are signs of a recovery".

Of course there is going to be a recovery - there's going to be a bounce as businesses reopen, as the working sector gets back to some form of normality, but if you're trying to extend that to the average working class person?

    Absolutely bang wrong.

Is it ? I run my own business and we are heading for our best year ever in the year to 30th June 2021, by some considerable margin. We've gone from expecting the world to fall out of the housing market to almost having to work full time !!!

Personally I'm probably £300 to £400 a MONTH better off with no spending on holidays, beer, meals out, drugs (only joking on that one, honest), day trips, having family round for meals and drinks etc.

Working from home between the start of November and the end of April has saved me around £750 alone in petrol, more than enough to cover the extra utility bills many times over. My wife is working from home now and that is saving another £120 per month. We've put more into our savings in the last 12 months than the last three years combined.

I'm lucky, many aren't in this position, I know that and I sympathise with them, but from my circle of friends (yes I have some) the same picture can be seen in that we have pent up demand to spend.

The UK economy contracted by 9.9% in 2020 and the BoE expect it grow by 7.5% in 2021 and exceed 1st Jan 2020 levels during early 2022.
