We've become more solid and difficult to break down but we're not exactly blowing teams away. I think someone is getting a bit carried away with a few decent results.

 

You need a smart TV that has the feature to 'cast' from other devices.

You can load the video on your phone, PC, laptop or tablet and then look for the 'connect to a wireless display' option or similar, and synch the two.

It takes a few moments, but if everything works out you can watch it on your tele.

 

You don't need a smart TV, you can watch it on your TV simply by connecting a HDMI lead from a laptop to the TV.

Or get a firestick and a "hooky sub" like @Bronco

Yeah, you could use a HDMI lead, but there isn't a person alive monstrous enough to bootleg City matches.

The thing I liked tonight were the type of goals. These are the sort of goals I feel like Ive seen other teams scores on weekly round ups and wondered ‘why can’t we produce something like that?’

 

If you take it over the last three games its correct. Over the course of the season then no, we've been bloody awful.

 

Novak has made a massive difference.

I think he was underestimated a little bit, but to go from Donaldson and Samuels to someone like Novak who is literally better at everything (except pace) than both of those players is a big thing.

Don't get me wrong, with no service Novak isn't the best, but he's done better up front on his own than we have with the Donaldson/Samuels pairing/

 

The team and the performances look a lot better, and Novak brings a threat that we seemed lacking in the last month with him being injured.

I'm not for give the job out now, but I don't think we need to rush the decision and a few more games will see if the caretaker is up to the job or if this is just a post manager bounce.

Worse thing we could do is offer a job after 3 games as see ourself back where we were two weeks ago.

7 points in 3 games has put us well above the bottom two for the time being, and more importantly out of the bottom two should CoVid come along and finish the season.

 

I'm not wanting to go McCall bashing but the players actually look and act like a team, something that had evidently disappeared under McCall, Body language is massive in sport and the change in this in three games is remarkeable. To go from looking like conceding 5 or 6 a game to conceding 2 in three games, one an own goal, shows a team with a complete lack of trust in its previous management set up.

 

I agree that Novak has made a difference but I don't think we can just ignore the fact that not being 2-0 down inside the first 20 minutes every week takes some of the pressure off whoever plays upfront.

 

Not sure if you're on about my quote but I definitely wasn't saying we were poor.
