Ryan Lowe now odds on at 10/11 with SkyBet, rather unusual to say he is currently employed by another club, something in this perhaps?

 

Fine if people want to rule themselves out because they aren't up for the challenge, believe they are "better" than managing us or would just rather sit at home and get paid by their former employers. They aren't the kind of people we want anyway.

We want someone who is either already employed, knows we have issues and believes they are the man to solve them or has a massive point to prove after being harshly sacked by a previous club.

 

Plymouth sack him & I assume they have to pay him off. We poach him & Plymouth potentially get compo. So makes no sense to give him the boot if rumours of us sniffing around are true I guess.

Did see something on Twitter earlier suggesting he would be announced Thursday pm/Friday. But as always there seems that much spouted on there that chances are that’s just the usual random guess/speculative tweet.

Jamie Lawrence has been using a gym in Birstall this week. He lives in London. Could it be that he’s been having talks with City and applied for the job?

And make take on Ryan Lowe is that he has probably applied:

1. before he gets the boot as he’s not won a game with Plymouth in his last 7 league games. He will be close to getting the chop, that’s if he hasn’t already discussed leaving by ‘mutual consent’

2. if he doesn’t leave soon he’ll probably get strung up my the Plymouth faithful!

3. Hrs from up North, does he want Christmas with his family and home sick

Why would Lowe be a poor choice? Two automatic promotions from League Two in his first two seasons playing good football.

 

Lowe would be great choice.

 

Having asked about McGreal and read a couple of posts on here now and a couple of articles on the world wide web he seems like a good shout to me for the points you raise above and his general working with a squad, moving them forward and having a plan. He looks like a good contender to me.

 

Jamie is a member of James Masons FiveNine_Agency, maybe they have a couple of gigs up here, we attended one last year around this time at the Victoria Hotel Jamie was one of the speakers boy can he tell some tails.

I can see his success with bringing young players through being appealing to Sparks.
