yet we're looking at bringing in a YTS kid from London who has a handful of goals at youth and u23 level during a global pandemic. where is this kid going to live - in a hotel on his own? host family? can't just have mates or family up to visit due to CV19. have the club really thought this through? it's hardly a good environment for him to settle in well.

Maybe they're waiting to see how well to do in these cup games, so we have more money available to spend on getting a better sgtriker, as money earned in cups is excluded from the cap (unless I've misunderstood what that means). Or maybe they're waiting for the right player to become available, rather than getting their 4th or 5th choice whos available now. There's a lot of things it may be but no reason to believe it's just for the sake of saving a couple of weeks' wages
