Personally don’t mind the lad coming in if he’s been properly scouted and he fits what we need, still think we need two attackers though even if it sacrifices getting a RB.

 

What do we have to lose? He's not going to be on much money (maybe Palace even pay his wages), he's faster than any other striker we've got, and he's got something to prove. Our current top three, look like they are all paid way too much for not trying very hard, and are about as fast as Uncle Tom on his last lap of his garden.

There have been plenty of strikers from League 1&2 who have moved around to different clubs this window. We seem to be happy with 3 cart horses and an untested teenager. Yippee. Sorry im not over enthused.

 

Even while Vaughan was still here I said I’d have liked to have gone for the lad at Boreham Wood. Cant say I’m not disappointed he’s the sort of investment we should be looking at, and if he did well we’d either get promoted or cash in on him or potentially both like with Wells.

Very unexpected that result - we had beaten them 4-1 four days previous on Boxing Day - then we lost 9-1 on New years eve - suspect some Christmas food and drink might have had something to do with it!!!

 

Same Wilsden, I'd love Tshinga to come here. I wouldn't be surprised though if the reason a league 1 or 2 club hasn't snapped him up is because he's on more at Boreham Wood than us or any of our rivals would want or be able to offer him.
